The alarms blared alerting the whole shuttle bay of an incoming craft the Flying Angel class racing yacht which actually looked far more aggressive than the standard model clearly having been up-armored and up-gunned slid into the Shuttlebay it also painted pure black making it very hard to see out in the void of space once shut down procedures were done and it was safe to approach the craft the hatch began to open out stepped a woman she mainly looked human though instead of human ears she had Caitian ears poking out from the top of her head a caitian tail swishing out from behind her her nails were long and claw-like her eyes a bright emerald green had feline slit pupils she also had a caitian like nose and whiskers her hair was long tied in a protocol ponytail however it was a deep purple “Well from one Mjolnir to the next it feels like I have not left home” she said loudly as she looked around for the welcoming committee

Having been alerted the arrival of a new artifact, Ruuk made his was down to the Shuttle bay as quickly as he could.
“Please, excuse my tardiness. What’s the situation?” He asked.

Ensign Jackson and Lieutenant Drang arrived at approximately the same time. Ensign Jackson motioned towards the crate and directed his attention to the Ruuk.
“We have recently received this artifact from our visitor. According to her, it exerts a profound mental influence on anyone who comes into contact with it, especially affecting telepathic species even more intensely. Lieutenant Drang here is to escort you to the containment facility where it will be researched and you can figure out how to best secure the object.”
He glanced at their guest and said, “I have been instructed to accompany you to the Captain’s Ready Room. Please follow me, Miss…?”

She smiled as the crew of the Leviathan did their thing “I am Lieutenant Shepard” she purred playfully before looking to Ensign Jackson “lead the way hot stuff” she said giving him a playful wink ready to go meet the captain and finish the hand off

Oh yeah, thought Ensign Jackson to himself. All the ladies love me, no matter the species. I mean…how could they not? He grinned at Lieutenant Shepherd as he took her hand. “Come Lieutenant. I will escort you to the Captain. Tell me what’s a Catian like yourself, with all that beautiful fur doing flying around mysterious objects into the vastness of space on a Flying Angel class shuttle?”

If the other crew members looked into the crate they would find a Polished Gemstone purple in color with Silver swirling streations laced through it it was mesmerizing just to look at it was 11.25 Inches or 28.5 Centimeters long and had a circumference of 28 inches or 71 centimeters in the middle It was shaped like an American or Gridiron Football

As he past Drang and Ruuk, he wore a huge grin on his face. He activated his comem badge to update Captain Henao as he was supposed to do, =^=Captain, Lieutenant Shepherd has docked safely. Lieutenants Ruuk and Drang are recovering the object and will transport it to the containment facility. We will be there shortly. Our ETA is approximately 5 minutes.=^=

The doors to the Shuttlebay opened as they departed from it and headed to the nearest turbolift.

Jackson glanced at her with a playful smile. “Taken, huh? Well, I can’t help but be curious about what a half-Caitian, half-human officer like what you are up to when you’re not flying around and delivering mysterious objects,” he teased.

As they approached the nearest turbo-lift, Jackson pressed the button. The doors slid open, and they stepped inside. He leaned against the wall, facing her. “So, if it’s above my pay grade, does that mean I’ll never find out? Or perhaps you could give me a little hint?” he asked, raising an eyebrow in intrigue.

The turbo-lift hummed softly as it began to ascend, carrying them toward their destination. Ensign Jackson’s playful expression showed genuine curiosity, eager to learn more about his intriguing colleague’s secret endeavors.

Ensign Jackson had circled back to the shuttle bay after dropping off Alexandra. His eyes were drawn to the crate as Lt. Drang carefully secured it. The polished gemstone within intrigued him, and Jackson had the urge to touch it, better yet swipe it from the crate and take off running. He shook the thought from his head. He knew better. Understood the importance of following protocol and knew he must refrain from touching it without authorization or knowledge of its properties....but still he was drawn to it.
Looking at Lt. Drang and Lt. Ruuk, Jackson couldn’t help but feel a surge of curiosity mixed with anxiety. “So, what happens now?” he asked, his voice tinged with excitement as he eyed the artifact. “Are you two going to take it to some secret vault on the ship? Can I come along, or do I need special clearance?” Jackson mimicked the last part in a whiny voice.

Ruuk stood a moment and mentally surveyed his options. “I’m keen to limit exposure of this object on the crew until we know exactly what it is we’re dealing with.” He turned to Lt. Drang. “If you agree, Lieutenant. I’d like to take the object to a containment facility so that we can perform some detailed analysis without interacting too closely with it, and then work from there.”
As an after thought Ruuk added: “And then - if it is deemed low risk and it is practicable - perhaps the Ensign can come down and take a look.”

“Yes, good thinking.” Ruuk Concurred. He walked over to one of the panels and started tapping away. After a few moments a force field appeared around the Crate.
“There, that ought to do it. Now to prepare for Transport.”
Ruuk was keen to get this object into a more stable environment. Not only so that analysis could begin, but also so he could begin a computer search to see if there was any known information on this item.

As the containment architect Lieutenant Ruuk’s security level (GAMMA) gave him immediate access to the information on the stone, which had already been uploaded into the containment database. He would find the following information on the mysterious artifact:

CONTAINMENT - Retrieval #093888 must be contained in a sealed and pressure-negative titanium-lead chamber and put still inside two lead-lithium frames. All personnel entering the chamber must be equipped with personal deflector shielding to avoid side effects.
DESCRIPTION - Retrieval #093888 is a polished purple gemstone made of stone, with silver swirling striations running through it. The gemstone measures 11.25 inches or 28.5 centimeters in length and has a circumference of 28 inches or 71 centimeters at its widest point. Its shape resembles that of an American or Gridiron Football.
This unique stone crash-landed on the planet HP4960-Z, which is currently during an Industrial Revolution. The planet is inhabited by a species known as the Mar’Zek, which evolved from amphibians.
What sets this stone apart is its apparent psionic intelligence. Merely gazing at the stone makes one yearn to pick it up and hold it, and once in contact, it begins to divulge “secrets” to the holder.
