Greetings fellow sentients,

I apologize for the tardiness in sending this out. There have been my own beasts to wrestle that I won’t get into. The Leviathan is suffering, having lost her command team. It’s unfortunate that both Sharon and Jake chose to step down from the Levi, especially at the same time. I see the ship burning now with so much red in the roster.

The Leviathan keens in the deep.

I’ve been talking with the Eldritch Zebra and now pose the question to you all. The Leviathan is a self-sim ship. Which means every member of the crew has an enhanced vested interest in seeing it continue on. So how many here actually do wish to see the ship continue swimming through the void, or is it time to find cosmic rest?

We’re discussing it here for the moment for myriad reasons, but as always my door is open, and I do not (usually) bite.

Anyway, feel free to discuss, reach out, or send me hate mail. Anything to know someone is screaming in the dark.

Not sure how to reply as I am most likely the newest crewmember. I do know that the concept of the Leviathan is both unique and intriguing. I feel that it should not be abandoned so easily. If need be perhaps it could be brought away from self sim to more traditional sim with crew input on ideas. I again feel to abandon a very unique Star Trek concept would be a loss to all.

I still feel pretty green in this crew and I’ve been guilty of not being as active, but for what it’s worth, I’m game to keep plugging along if others are. It is a unique ship and its specialized focus was a draw for me.

I think it would be a loss to retire the Levi. I did take a break from the ship a few months ago, and in that time most of the regular sim writers also left, so I think we’re still trying to get sims off the ground now.
