Luna had woken from yet another nightmare. The dreams were always the same. She knows why they weren’t dreams, they were memories. It had been slowly getting worse for years. She took a few deep breaths. If only she could talk to someone. Cerenity was too young and honestly the less she knew the better. She did not know anyone on board well enough. Loki had been the only one to ever know the full story. He is gone now.

” A walk that will help clear my head,” she thought. As she got up and put her uniform on. She headed over to cerenity’s bedroom. She wanted to check on the child before going to bed. The child slept peacefully. This brought a smile to Luna’s face. She pulled the girl’s blanket back up over her shoulders and kissed the top of her head before she left their Quarters.

Out into the brightly lit halls of the leviathan, she felt panic for a brief moment. ” This is the leviathan I’m safe and so is Cerenity’’ she said to herself as she continued down the hall. She wandered for several hours. Before a sense of shear, panic hit her.

Where had this come from she did not know? She tried to look around and move but was unable to get her body to do as she wanted. She could hear her heartbeat in her ears. Her breathing became shorter. She suddenly felt as if the walls were closing in on her.

She said the leviathan’s hall beginning to morph into the star weight hall was in her nightmares. ” it’s not real, it’s not real” she whispered, shouting her eyes tight. ” I’m home safe” she muttered several times before opening her eyes again. She was back on the leviathan.

This gave her very little comfort despite her best efforts that panic became terror. Her heart raced and her breaths were short and shallow. She tried to take some deep breaths to force herself to calm down. It did her no good, it was only getting worse.

After a great deal of effort, she stumbled into sickbay. Despite for help and an end to this episode, it was the worst one she had ever had. ” Help please,” she asked in a bare whisper. Her skin was paler than normal, her hair and feathers were a mess. There was a thin layer of sweat forming on her skin as well. The rapid breathing gave a huge clue something was very wrong with luna.

ISAC programmed kicked on. As he formed he saw Luna there “ good Lord woman you look like you’ve seen a ghost” Isaac helped her to one of the bio beds and started a scan. High fever, shallow breathing, and rapid heartbeat. He looked at Luna “ according to the scans you were having a very bad panic attack and a slightly high fever. Have you been sleeping well” he asked As he got some medicine together to help with the fever and to hopefully calm her down. “ I can give you something for the fever and something else to help calm you down I have permission to give you the medicine,” he asked her.

Luna gave him no problems. The scan would also show the evidence of prolonged Stress and lack of sleep. She looked at him a ratified look on her face. One of her hands when to her chest she felt as if her hart might explode. ” W-wh… Make…it Stop… Pl-please” She whispered.
