A Dominion War veteran and a Breen walk into a bar…it was a tale that could never have charted an easy course. Oh, both had made a degree of effort in their own, belligerent way. But Kodek Vonn and Zachariah Cobb were never going to become the best of dutiful friends. Still, in the days that followed the departure of the former RTF Chief, the Leviathan’s captain was surprised to find himself missing this noble adversary.

And nowehere was his absence more evident than within the RTF. Without a leader, this team of highly trained officers were cast adrift. And at a time when the Leviathan herself was cut off from central command and left to fend entirely for themselves. Cobb knew that no reinforcements marched on the horizon. If Kodek Vonn was to be replaced, then they would come from the vessel’s current crew. And for Zachariah, only one name seemed more than up to the task.

=/\= On my way captain. =/\= Surda had long outgrown the stab of fear that she had been recalled, but considering their current location she wouldn’t have worried about it regardless. She arrived outside his office, palming at the chime before coming in.

“You called, Captain?” She cocked out a hip and met his eyes with a crooked grin. She wasn’t sure what he wanted, but she imagined it had something to do with the security on the Containment decks.
