Hey Leviathaners,

me and Ty are going away for the long weekend tomorrow morning, then we’ll be back for one day on Tuesday and away somewhere else for the rest of next week. If I can find some time (and wifi) in the evenings to make a post or two then I will, but just in case that doesn’t happen, I’m going to put myself on LOA for the week.

Be good while I’m gone, hehe. You’ve all been making great progress with the Year of Hell sim, so just in case anyone feels like investigating further, here’s a quick recap of the key points:

• The Leviathan has been sent to investigate the 'Alini Triangle' - a strange, spatial anomaly that has already swallowed two other ARU ships.
• Before their disappearances, the vessels reported experiencing several issues, both technical with the ship and physical/psychological with the crewmembers. On the psychological issues, these included the sense that someone or something was onboard the ship with them.
• En-route to the Alini system, the Levi bridge crew encountered an escaped anomaly that had assumed the form of Captain Cobb.
• Attempts by the CIO to uncover further information on this anomaly have revealed that it was planted on the Leviathan deliberately, as a distraction from their current mission. But why? And who would order such a thing?
• Meanwhile, a strange, black substance has been discovered growing in various locations throughout the Levi. Studying this substance for any length of time appears to put the observer into a kind of trance...
