USS Leviathan
OOC: Line of the Night - June
Hey Leviathaners,
so as you all know, things have been pretty hectic for me over these past few months, and one of the things that I sadly let slip was the lines of the night. Huge apologies for that, since I hope you all like to look back over your collective moments of brilliance as much as I do! I have managed to kickstart these again for August and so far we’ve had some truly fantastic selections for it. But I also realised that I’d never actually posted June’s lines to the board. So…here they are. Rather late but…better than not at all!
And finally, my usual boring disclaimer - this is purely a bit of fun and doesn’t count towards anything official. It’s also inevitably skewed in favour of those who post daily, but that’s just the nature of me choosing a new line every day.

| 04/06/2021 | DaiMon Lazol | Brian Richards | “Had that changed his decision? Not at all, but it was about finding the right person and the right fit. He wasn’t that man and anyone worth their salt knew it.” | https://www.star-fleet.com/core/stf1/leviathan/posts/139279/ |
| 06/06/2021 | Surda | Leonora V | “Surda grinned. “Two words Captain. Prison. Codes.” | https://www.star-fleet.com/core/stf1/leviathan/posts/139562/ |
| 07/06/2021 | Jaieh Vrenek | Sam Pennington | “She had been able to authenticate the existence of the USS Leviathan, but the details of its mission were classified. According to her orders, it was anomaly containment and research. But why would a science division be classified. Projects maybe. A whole ship?” | https://www.star-fleet.com/core/stf1/leviathan/posts/139724/ |
| 08/06/2021 | N/A | David Shotton | “Saruman was an emo wizard.” | N/A |
| 09/06/2021 | Jonathan Durheim | William Deaton | “Mr. Cobb; if you do not respond, I will deliver a strong electrical shock to you…” After a moment of silence, the smell of ozone began to spread across the bridge, and a sharp electrical crackle emitted from the Chief Engineers’ mechanical hand as it neared Cobb’s shoulder....” | https://www.star-fleet.com/core/stf1/leviathan/posts/139962/ |
| 10/06/2021 | Casela Synthi-er | Jennifer Ward | “I didn’t have enough detail. There must have been too many discrepancies, and she picked up on them. But we’ve never used this device on a Betazoid before. I need to scan more of her memory to make the images more detailed.” | https://www.star-fleet.com/core/stf1/leviathan/posts/140152/ |
| 11/06/2021 | Ryder Raauhl | J Ridgley | “Looks like I’m not too late,” He said looking between Cobb and their Chief Engineer with a curious grin, “Everything ok or should I invite Gen onto the bridge?” He chuckled.” | https://www.star-fleet.com/core/stf1/leviathan/posts/140288/ |
| 12/06/2021 | Adam Magnusson | Hjortur Ingi | “Her skin is as white as leprosy,” He said quietly to himself but loud enough for the others to hear “Does the Captain often quote eighteenth-century poetry?” | https://www.star-fleet.com/core/stf1/leviathan/posts/140386/ |
| 12/06/2021 | Juliet Anders | Melissa Aragon | “This isn’t instrospection on literature, Cas… Something is wrong. He…” she struggled for the word and Cas would sense it. Her brow furrowed slightly. “feels different. I don’t know how to explain it.” | https://www.star-fleet.com/core/stf1/leviathan/posts/140406/ |
| 13/06/2021 | Jonathan Durheim | William Deaton | “Things could happen all too quickly in engineering. Reactor blips; vent blockages; energy spikes… it was a lucky day when you had enough time to actually do something besides die on your feet; never knowing what killed you.” | https://www.star-fleet.com/core/stf1/leviathan/posts/140480/ |
| 14/06/2021 | Adam Magnusson | Hjortur Ingi | “Rule number four, always carry a knife.” | https://www.star-fleet.com/core/stf1/leviathan/posts/140565/ |
| 15/06/2021 | Kodek Vonn | James Sinclair | “The voice spoke, but it was different… decidedly so. Guttural… harsh… grating… hostile. It was a voice only Cobb, or someone who had an spent inordinate time studying Breen, would recognize. It was an actual Breen voice; complete with the pauses needed for it to vocalize in an manner inconsistent with their physiology. “Cobb… you… are… a fool.” | https://www.star-fleet.com/core/stf1/leviathan/posts/140853/ |
| 16/06/2021 | Reira Akaba | Stephen MacDonald | “Firing highly experimental and probably illegal weapons at a research ship surrounded by strange portals and god knows what else was a terrible idea and hopefully Leo wouldn’t try something.” | https://www.star-fleet.com/core/stf1/leviathan/posts/140886/ |
| 17/06/2021 | Mwezi | Miriam W | “He’d asked the Captain for permission to explore the… Non-classified back-ends of the ship, and the non-committal grunt he’d gotten in reply had been good enough for him.” | https://www.star-fleet.com/core/stf1/leviathan/posts/141040/ |
| 18/06/2021 | DaiMon Lazol | Brian Richards | “While he might not sound like the most skilled when it comes to anomalies, he is the perfect leader for a department who takes the eccentrics and wildcards of Starfleet sciences and puts them in a room with things of untold power and knowledge then tells them to poke that thing with a stick.” | https://www.star-fleet.com/core/stf1/leviathan/posts/141322/ |
| 20/06/2021 | Adam Magnusson | Hjortur Ingi | “I Discovered an anomaly through rumours coming from an archaeological site. When I reported it to Starfleet an ARU Vessel was sent, I found the ship and its crew to be abnormal so when they started looking for me I didn’t let them find me.” | https://www.star-fleet.com/core/stf1/leviathan/posts/141447/ |
| 21/06/2021 | Ryder Raauhl | J Ridgley | “The Trill commander donned the gloves and picked up the see-through torpedo looking device which had a plunger at one end to suck in the liquid and was made entirely of glass, the device seemed to come with a double wall which was vacuumed. “Where is it?” | https://www.star-fleet.com/core/stf1/leviathan/posts/141485/ |
| 22/06/2021 | Casela Synthi-er | Jennifer Ward | “Sometimes it’s not a refusal to see their failings, but a refusal or an inability to accept they can fix it. Humans are very....different that way.” | https://www.star-fleet.com/core/stf1/leviathan/posts/141769/ |
| 23/06/2021 | Akirel Ros | David Shotton | “I’m not sure about a raincoat, I look terrible in yellow,” he admitted then looked down at her with a dangerous look in his eyes, but this was not a look that spoke of danger in battle. This was a look that promised a trip for the two of them to the medical bay later. “But about that storm, I could do with a shower.” | https://www.star-fleet.com/core/stf1/leviathan/posts/141847/ |
