Harel passed several Leviathan officers as he made his way through the corridors. While most had nodded, or said a quick hello, Harel never acknowledged any of them. He was engrossed in what he was reading and could not spare the seconds required for niceties. So engrossed in his research was he that he passed by the door to the counselor’s office not once, not twice, but three times before realizing his error. Finally, he stopped and quickly stowed the PaDD before activating the door chime.

Dean sighed as he watched the Lt Cmdr pace back and forth across the entire counseling deck. He tried to get the man’s attention several times, but he was engrossed in his PaDD. “Lt Synthi-er isn’t here quite yet. She’ll be back in a moment. I’m Chief Dean.” He offered his hand to the man. “Can I get you a drink while you wait Lt Cmdr? If you give me your name I can get you checked in and your file sent to the Lt.”
