Luna had been wondering the halls of the Leviathan for a good two hours before she found herself at Jin’s quarters. It was late at night and cerenity was asleep. She had to talk to him. She could not stay away from him. She took several deep breaths.

Then knocked on the door. Yes knocked. She could never bring herself to use the chime.

Jin’Lor jerked at the sound of the knock, sitting up with one of his knives in hand. After taking a moment to realize no one was in the room, he calmed down and slid the knife back into place beneath his pillow. Rising from the bed with a quick stretch to pop his aching metallic spine, he pulled on a pair of comfortable pants and went to answer the door. Rubbing the sleep from his eyes, the geneticist pushed back locks of his brown hair that was not held back in a ponytail at the moment.

Who would be up as late as he usually would be? Normally, at this hour, he was hiding out in the lab looking at blood samples or anything he could study without harming a living being. Tonight, though, he had been tired and decided to sleep a little.

It was shocking to see Luna on the other side of the door. “Hello,” He said, a hint of surprise in his voice. “This is unexpected.”

Luna smiled at true smile. It was almost shy though the kind of smile that only Loki had seen. ” Your is beautiful, can we talk.” Luna asked. She stared playing with her hair nervously.
Ensign Luna

“Oh, uhm, sure,” Jin’Lor said with a nervous smile before stepping aside to let Luna inside. “You can take a seat anywhere you like.” He informed her before returning to his room and grabbing a shirt. Pulling it on, he went to Jeane’s room and closed the door so their conversation would not disturb the teen. He was well aware of how little sleep the boy got as is and did not wish to interrupt it.

Returning to Luna as he adjusted the shirt, he offered her a kind smile. “So, what was it you wanted to talk about?”

“I umm… I find you attractive.” She said quietly her face turning bright red. She could help it and she did not know why it was driving her insane. ” I-I should not but I do and i don’t know why its driving me insane. And I don’t want to hurt you because I care” she said quietly.
Ensign Luna

To say Jin’Lor was shocked was an understatement as he stared at Luna for a long time. “I…uh…I see,” He said as he took a seat and rubbed at the back of his neck. “Well, I find you rather attractive as well Luna, but…what do you mean by you should not?” This part of her statement perplexed the geneticist. Why should she not pursue what she found interest in?

” loki” she said quietly. It hurt her to think about him. Her eyes started to water. ” He was Cerenity’s father but he went missing over a year ago. I think he’s dead. It doesn’t really matter i should not fine you attractive because I can’t…” she muttered her words fell off.
Ensign Luna

Jin’Lor was silent for a long moment, listening to what Luna had to say. He had heard about Loki from Jeane, who had seen the picture of him in Luna’s quarters. The teen had, of course, asked about the man, which got him scolded for being nosy. “Because you can’t what, Luna?” He inquired, worry in his tone.

Luna blinked. ” I love Loki but I’m attracted to you it makes no sence” Luna said quietly. ” loki is my child’s father I can’t be attracted to you because of that. I can’t abandon him even if he’s never coming back. What would Cerenity think if I were to try dating or even interest in another man the would think I’m trying to replace him.” Luna said quietly.
