Ran frantically throw the halls of the Leviathan. She had gotten off work over an hour ago and check all of the usual places Cerenity hung out. But the child was seeming to be nowhere to be found. ” Cerenity! Cerenity!” Luna yelled in a panic.

She was nere the RTF at this point. But why would Cerenity be here. It made no sence. Then again nether did the girls disappearance. She had to be on the ship right.
Ensign Luna

As Luna rounded a corner, a child’s laugh could be heard faintly from further down the passageway. As the laugh drew closer, another voice was heard… but this 9ne was no child’s. Nor was it even natural… but it was recognizable…

Vonn.

As the mammoth figure of the armored Breen came around the corner, they had the hand of Cerenity in on gauntleted hand of their own. As Luna came into view, Vonn stopped and the helmet swiveled to look directly at her.

Luna breathed a sigh of relief. Thank goodness her child was onboard the ship and safe.

“I believe this belongs to you, Ensign; does it not? She was outside the armory. If she dissapears frequently, perhaps you should take alternative steps. A bell around her neck or perhaps? Or maybe an long tether with a stout lock would help.” Without waiting for an answer from Luna, the Breen k elt on one knee and the helmet looked at Cerenity. “Now, child. What did we learn?”

” Cerenity thank you iv been looking for her for over an hour honestly I thought she had outgrown this kind of behavior” Luna said calmly.

“And what do you do when strangers make you uncomfortable or scared?”

” well you said not to speak to strangers and if they scare me to stab them center mass and push up. However, I don’t have a knife and not all people are bad you should try trusting people more often it never hurts to be kind” Cerenity said. Luna half giggled in response. ” She is not allowed to learn to fight are holow bones present quite a problem and she is to small.

Cerenity glared at her mother. ” See she treats me like a child. I. Not a baby” she said.

Vonn’s hand went to one of the belt pouches on their waist and pulled out a small, black, metal rectangle with a button in the middle of one side. Vonn held it out to her,showing her the button, and pressed it. A wicked looking blade popped out of one end. They pressed the button again and it slid back. Putting in her hand, Vonn said “So now you have a knife. And kindness is a gift you give to those you trust. And not everyone is worthy of such. Be kind, yes… but always be ready.” and they stood up and the helmet swiveled to look at Luna.

Cerenity blinked confused by Vonn’s word. ” why are all the adults around me afraid of echother.” She said as she examined the knife. She did not have anything of value until
she spotted one of her fethers that had falled to the floor. She picked it up and held it out to Vonn.” I don’t have anything to trad but i have this fether” Cerenity said sweetly.

“One is never to small to start to learn how to defend one’s self, Ensign. And hollow bones present only the problems you allow them to.” and Vonn turned to walk down the passageway.

” Commander Vonn a moment please” Luna called. She looked to Cerenity. ” stay right here” Luna said she caught up to Vonn Cerenity was still with in sight. ” may I ask a personal question” Luna asked.
Ensign Luna

The helmeted figure turned to look at Luna. “Chief Warrant Officer. Ask your question, Ensign.” replied the synthetic voice.

” how old were you when you learnd to fight?” She asked casting a glance at cerenity. The child stayed where she was.
Ensign Luna

Vonn was motionless for a moment and then the voice said “All Breen begin training when younger than she is now. But some do not survive.” The voice was flat, emotionless, and without inflection. If there was any sense of the magnitude of what Vonn was saying, it wasn’t present in their voice.

Luna blinked confused what exactly were the Breen. ” well im glad you survived. I’m sorry but what exactly are the Breen iv never meet one before.” Luna said. Cerenity suddenly appeared next to her. ” yah I want to learn about the Breen what is your home like what laguige do Breen speak” she asked. Luna blinked then shook her head. ” this one will drive you up a wall with questions. Thank you again for finding her” Luna said .
Ensign Luna

There was a long pause, during which Vonn didn’t move. Finally Vonn said simply “The Breen are more similar to your Federation than you know. But until such time as it is warranted, I will say no further.” The helmet focused on Cerenity and the voice said “My world is cold. Very cold. And very dangerous for those not welcome.” The helmet swiveled up to Luna. “Ensign.” Vonn said simply and they turned and moved down the passageway and out of sight.

Cerenity blinked” is he always so abrupt” she asked. Luna practically chuckled. ” Yes Weren’t officer Vonn is usually very Adrupt” Luna said taking Cerenity’s hand and headed back to there quarters.

OOC: The concentration of “scary/strong/serious characters with a soft spot for children” on this ship is incredible. Cerenity is gonna have a knife collection by the time she’s an adult.

OOC: Luna is going to confiscate the knife. Even a 3 year old as smart as Cerenity should not be running around the ship with knifes. Lol.
