Carrol > 0,3
Cobb > 2,3As Hawkeye then noticed what he did wrong he then noticed that Carrol had one at 0,3 he then moved a piece to C1R2 to C2R3. He then waited for the next move.
Ensign Hawkeye Logan
Carrol copied the move onto her board, moving from 3,2 to 2,3.
-Carrol the flower“Captain I say you take over. I can’t do it. My knowledge with this game isn’t good I have never really played it. Sorry sir.” Hawkeye apologized.
Ensign Hawkeye Logan
OOC: Here’s some more creepy stuff about the flower absorbing body parts. Enjoy!
IC:
Surda grinned at her NE, enjoying the tidbit she was about to share. “Don’t feel too bad Ensign. Carroll here has five brains, and one of them is Vulcan”
-Surda, CoS“That explains a lot. Like I said. I don’t think I’m eligible to play this game. I kinda think that the captain should do it.” Logan said.
Ensign Hawkeye Logan
OOC: Okay, so in an attempt to record the moves, I’m using “Ca” to indicate where Carrol’s pieces are, “Za” for where the captain’s pieces are, and if the grid co-ordinate has an ‘E’ after it, eg. 1,4 E, then that space is currently empty. I figured that might help us a little seeing where we can make jumps.
Clear as mud? LOL!IC: Cobb chuckled as Logan handed control of the game back to him. “Feeling spooked, lad?” he teased the young medic. Then Surda casually informed them of the creature’s five brains, and the captain’s own face blanched.
“I do not want to know how a plant acquired the brain of a Vulcan,” he murmured, sharing an anxious face with Hawkeye. “Or anything on the previous owners of the other brains.”
Resuming his seat at the table, Zachariah studied the board before him, his eyes instantly drawn to the gaping hole at C1 R4, right on the diagonal from Carrol. Even a single Vulcan brain would surely spot the opportunity and use it to their advantage. But with five brains to his meagre one? Cobb began to feel like a man at sea with broken rudder.
“Over to you, Carrol,” he locked his own eyes onto the space where he imagined the plant’s eyes to be, hoping to apply a little intimidation if nothing else.
- Captain Zachariah Cobb
“Sorry captain. I’m just not a person who likes games. Don’t forget I’m a Vulcan. I’m someone who plays Kaltoh. It’s a Vulcan game.” He replied.
Ensign Logan.
Ensign Forricci shrugged. “If I’m being honest, I’m no good at board games. Most of the Security department has lost some game or another to Carroll.” Carroll moved from 5,2 to 6,3
-Surda, CoS“Really. I never knew that it would go that far. I’m surprised but at the same time not really.” Hawk then shrugged back.
Ensign Hawkeye Logan
“Just out of interest, Ensign,” Cobb leaned back in his chair and regarded Forricci, “what is the standard penalty for losing to Carroll?”
It was, perhaps, a question he should have found the sense to ask before embarking on this game.
Then with a shrug his attention returned to Logan. “Well, so far so…amicable. But I suspect the game will get tougher before long. So tell us, Mr Logan, if games are not your forte, then what does a man such as yourself like to do when not on duty, eh?”
As he continued to make smalltalk with Hawkeye, Cobb moved his piece from 2,3 into the empty spot at 1,2, commenting as he did so, “Let’s put the cat amongst the pigeons, so to speak, eh?”
