Why we came:
Casela recieved a report about strange ‘pranks and accidents’ happening to the children. And they were too…odd for the age of the children. Vedi’s leg got broken when no one was around him, but Carlin got mad, like kids do, when he lost in a race to Vedi and said he wished Vedi would never be able to out run him again. It’s assumed Vedi tripped in a hole or Carlin pushed him down but didn’t.
Another kid stole someone’s snack and then the child ended up chocking on their dinner.
And then there is Bella, her mother died when she was an infant so she has never known her, but she wanted her mother and her mother appeared

What you know and what has happened:

When McHarried healed Vedi’s broken leg the leg broke in a new place, instantly. McHarrie’s tricorder picked up a quantum signature when he examined the new break. McHarrie sent this information on to the rest of the team.

There are several quantum signatures around the village. The largest is the correct one for the planet and then each of the others is a totally different signature.
One where Remington was with Yarin and Lanshay and Jokath (another orphan),
one where Vedi the boy with the broken leg,
one at the communication equipment,
and a fading one where Ryder and Terul were when talking about Bella, her mom, and wanting to talk to his dad.
Two more in the hills:
One is following the path where Lanshay and Remington saw Bella and ‘her mom’ walking and
the other, according to Lanshay is inside the abandoned mines.

Moving forward:

The shuttle is available to use. Remember that it has a holographic ‘camouflage’ feature. The shuttles sensors could give a better and faster scan, or you can go walking around with a tricorder. Remington is currently investigating the hills.

Identify the different quantum signatures and perhaps try and figure out what triggers the fluctuations.
