Cerenity ran along the hallway ahead of Luna. ” are we ready going to get to fly outside on a planit” she said excitedly. Luna smiled shaking her head.

“not exactly it a holodeck it can recarat any inverting we want.” Luna said she ske keep in for a pine forest program. “Come on” Luna said taking the child hand and leading her into the holodeck.

” Wow let’s go” Cerenity yelled trying to take off. Luna held the child’s hand tightly and pulled her close. “Hold on Cerenity flying on a planet is different from flying on a ship” Luna said. Cerenity glared at her.

” Mom I’m not a baby I can fly better than you” she snapped. Luna shook her head smiling. Which then caused to make Cerenity angrier. ” you need to play aren’t to the currents in the air as you fly if your not careful you can get hurt,” Luna said calmly. The air inside a side did not really have currents in it like outdoors on a planet.

Cerenity glared at her mom ” ok mom can I go now” she said impatiently. Luna giggled nodded and Cerenity took off. Eminently getting caught by a jet stream and taken in the complete opener direction she was intending to go. But she recovered quickly enough.

Luna smiled took a rining start bevor leaping and opening her wings with two flaps of her wings she was in the air and above the trees. She angled her wings just right to catch a current and joined her daughter.
Ensign Luna

Ryder had heard of the two new crewmembers, one being a security officer and the other her daughter, an apparent partner in crime and civilian. Using the powers that be called the internal sensors he had tracked them down to the holodeck. Stepping in he looked around, at first he couldn’t see them but then again he wasn’t looking up so he called out. “Hello? Anywhere here?” After no answer he checked the sensors again which showed three life signs in the holodeck, one being him so he ventured a little deeper.

Luna heard the voice looked down to see the XO wandering the forest. Luna shook her head and came into land behind him. Her wings were nearly silent unless the man had super human hearing he would not hear her approach. She landed almost as quietly as she flew” Can I help you sir” Luna asked. Her voice was soft and almost musical. He had caught Luna in one of her rare good moods. Out of shear dumb luck, he was going to see who Ensign Luna was when she was not freaking out or had her defences up.

Cerenity stayed in the sky happy circling above them. Luna keeps and eye on the child as she waited for the stranger to respond.
Ensign Luna

“Sorry for intruding on your personal time,” He said still amazed by what he had just witnessed he had of course read and heard about Luna’s kind but never had expected it to be quiet so, medical. He also told himself next time to look up. “I actually wanted to come to see how you are settling in, I understand you did not come alone and the Leviathans mission isn’t the safest.” It wasn’t him to judge or tell people how or where to raise their family and though the Leviathan did have everything someone would need such as a classroom and teaches he did worry for their safety.

Luna pointed up to where Cerenity was circling over head. ” im glad your not a doctor or scientist. The trasition has not been easy but we are getting there.” She said. Then frowned at hereing the second part of his statement. ” im well away i dot exactly have family to send her to and in all honesty she is safer here with me then anywhere elsewhere. I’m guessing you did not bother to read my file?” She said. Her gaze going cold she stared at him more like a bird of pray then like a human.
Ensign luna

He shrugged, “Files only tell you what someone else thinks about someone. I like to make my own opinion on my officers and their families” Ryder looked towards Cerentiy and waved with a smile, ” She a spitting image of you, the stare included.” Ryder considered himself a good judge of character, and he liked Luna she was genuine and certainly deserved her place amongst the crew.

” oh she has plenty of her father in her. She has already managed to get into trouble.” Luna said with a smile. Cerenity giggled waving back but continued to fly for now. ” where are you from” Luna asked.
Ensign Luna

“I am from Trill” He pointed to his spots, “And yes I am joined so before me was Kala, Sabel, Loran and Noa so if sometimes you find me not myself its because one of them is speaking a lot louder than usual” He shrugged, “There’s not too many of us on the ship and while were a member of the federation not many of us leave to join Starfleet, were kinda boring usually. Rather religious. Though I wouldn’t change my heritage at all, I love who I am and my people. I think one-day Ill return to Trill have a small house in the mountains near the lakes. There isn’t much about your home in your file, none that really tell me what its like?”

Luna looked up. Cerenity was to high to hear them then looked back at the XO. ” you are lucky to have a home to go back to. There is not one in my file because I don’t have one sir.” She shot her eyes briefly. Befor looking back at Raauhl. ” I was handed over to section 31 when I was an infant Unlike Cerenity I was not born with wings i was a normal human. Now I… I don’t know. Cerenity don’t not know any of this. All she has know is the Viking” Luna said. There was a sadness to her voice. She wished she had a home to return to but that just was not safe.
Ensign Luna

“Then the Leviathan is your home,” He said seeing the sadness in her voice, “Talking of the Viking you’re not the only one to arrive from that ship. Perhaps you know off Ens. lykaios. In part shes the reason why I came to speak to you.” He looked to cerenity again, “We have many people here, family and friends alike dont feel like you dont belong anywhere because of your past or even your future, here we all belong to each other, in the platonic sense that is. Nothing weird I promise.”

Luna could not help but giggle at the stament. ” ill try and keep that in mind. As for this Ensign Lykaios I’m not sure who that is the name is familiar but I can’t place a faxe to it.” She said wondering what he was up to. Cerenity landed next to Luna. ” hi” she said with a smile.
Ensign Luna

“Hi to you, I’m Raauhl” He held out his hand to greet her as he would anyone, she strikes him as someone who was alot more mature of her age. “It’s nice to meet you, I hope you don’t mind me intruding on yours and your mother’s session.”

Cerenity smiled taking his hand. ” i like meeting new people.” She said smiling. Then looked at here mom. ” who is Ensign Lykaios, I think that was someone who was on the Viking with us” she said.
Ensign Luna

“Me too” Ryder agreed looking between the smaller version of Luna and Luna herself, “She tells a rather intresting tale of somewhere called the thunderome, has quiet the mouth on her and loves the gossip, apparently its due to her grecian heritage” Ryder laughed, “How are you finding your nre hike Miss Cerenity?”

Luna blinked it couldn’t be that scientists she was here. ” the only scientists to game my respect” Luna said giggling. Cerenity stared giggling ” she’s the girl how got her but handed to her by my mommy though the fight was never going to be fair no one can deet mommy” cerenity said giggling.

Lunas face turns bright red. ” that’s not true reality ” Luna said.

Cerenity smiled at Raauhl ” I live flying mommy won’t let me learn any tricks though.” She said. Luna shook her head. ” cerenity you are to little ” Luna said. Cerenity just glared at her mother then took off to fly some more.
Ensign Luna

Raauhl chuckled, “Kids huh? I haven’t had any myself but my previous hosts have had such a luxury though some would consider it a misery.” His eyes followed cerenity until he couldn’t keep up with her pace. “Well I don’t want to keep you any longer than I need to, it was nice to meet both of you and I hope you settle into the Leviathan. Any issues please direct them to me.”
