Surda had chosen a table against the wall for the meeting she had requested and sat comfortably facing the door. She was expecting Captain Manhattan and was waiting somewhat impatiently, not that you could see it on her face. The lounge was sparsely populated, and the table she had chosen was fairly removed from the rest of the crew. She would rather meet the man on her own terms than meet him the first time they had to work together during a containment failure.
-Surda, CoSThe Captain, the cool one, moved in the lounge and was perhaps untidy looking, having part of his dark greenish uniform opened and his sleeves raised at elbow height. In one hand he had a PaDD, in the other he was requesting a drink from the lounge bar, and with thirsty affair Erve took the whole sweet liquid and drank it in one breath, after which he took another one and looked for the committee of the meeting.
Sighting the woman he searched for, Erve walked tired onward and looked down the table “A bit isolated, I would say” he commented seating down on the opposite side of the woman “I’m sorry for my lateness… I got some targeting training and sparring with Casela. Anyway,” he laid down the glass filled with raspberry smoothie, with a relaxed pose and a smirking face “Erve Manhattan. New CoS? Ah! I would not say the last was eaten or something… but anyway, can I offer you something and then you tell me what’s the matter?”
M. Captain Erve Manhattan - RCO
Bump, bumpy bump
OOC: Sorry! The rez is crazy right now, especially the clinic.

Surda huffed a laugh and smirked back. “I heard the last CoS was melted. Rumors are awfully unreliable nowadays.” She pulled out a metal flask in response to his offer, then leaned back casually in her chair. “There isn’t a problem, I just thought you were someone I ought to meet in my… fairly new capacity. Connections are more valuable than all the things you could buy and all.” She almost sighed at the end. Surda had a tendency to quote Orion proverbs, although she had been trying to stop.
