Luna had finally gotten some free time cerenity was in bed fast asleep and she could go to the lounge for some adult time. She had sent the consuler an invite but did not expect her to come it was late and Casela had her own responsibilities.

Luna walked over to one of the replicators ordering a glass of sprite. Something she would never drink when cerenity was around. The child was hyper enough as it was with out a drink that was mostly shuger. She found a quiet corner of the lounge that had a good view of the window. She watched the stars outside and enjoyed her drink.

Casela had gotten the invite but couldn’t attend till 2300. That’s when RTF training ended. A few minutes later Casela entered the lounge with the rest of the RTF operatives. Their little team training had grown to include so many more. But she walked in talking and laughing with Lihew, who suddenly received a very strong punch to his Klingon gut for something he said. He laughed uproarisly but backed off. Niven (Vulcan) and her husband Uj’aw (Klingon) shook heads and found a corner booth to sit alone together. Irida glanced around with a huge smile calling to the bar tender for drinks and dragging several people with her. Trainor was quiet and stoic at the same time. Looking for a quiet booth for himself and a guest Casela knew would be arriving soon. She went to the bar and got a water with lime from Tock, the bar tender, and then turned and made her way through the throng of people. All tired, exhausted from the hard work, but still friends. The noise in the lounge was over bearing. But Cas had an hour to kill till Ryder got off shift. She looked around, found Luna and walked over taking a seat. “How are you doing tonight, Luna?”

” tired but ok how are you” Luna asked she took a sip of her drink. Truth be told she was not ready to go to sleep yet reliving her past was not fun. She smiled as she looked at Cas. ” This ship is beautiful but a little to clean makes me think of a laboratory” she said a shiver ran through her and she opened her wings slightly befor closing them again. She looked around scanning faces.

” im sorry, I end up reliving the past in my dreams a little to often” she apologized. There were something things that were hard to think about. ” im sure you have you far share of horror ” Luna said. She watched cas there was a fragile trust there one that would easily be broken but for now Luna was trying to trust Cas.
