After Bog left, Casela went back to examing the newly installed systems from the day before. The elegance of it was astounding. She really needed to get Cobb down there to look at the work Bog was doing. He’d appreciate it.

The morning found him on the holo deck running simulations on his twin generator regenerative shield design assisted buy a crudely rendered hologram with an English accent. Wile that evening saw the implementation of the design. The twin generators fed into duplicate conduits that would feed the shuttles emitters. The shielding began also to appear, sheathing systems with emission absorbing materials.

Again he used the time required for the computer to compile the designs to the replicator buffers to begin design the next fazes of the ships reincarnation. Hull plating, shield, phaser and holo emitters that would hang from her frame.

Bog

Casela had no appointments that morning, so she found herself entering the holodeck. “Mr. Bog I have a free morning. What can I do to assist you?”

Casela caught the tricorder with surprising deftness and flipped it open in one smooth motion. She started her scans, but quipped back, “Oh I don’t know. This little thing in my hand might be more complicated than a simple counselor, like myself, can handle.”

First to appear were the generators, one port and one starboard followed buy the waveguides that would carry the gravitons to the emiters. The web of wave guides allow each generator to provide three hundred and sixty degree coverage. Then the hull plating began to appear that supported the emiters, and finally the emiters them selves.

Bog

She moved around the shuttle, taking detailed scans of each piece as it appeared on the shuttle. Not only was Bog a brilliant engineer, he was apparently a brilliant computer programmer as well. The use of the replicators and transporters to create the new parts of the shuttle was impressive. Of course this was a holo recreation to ensure the design was correct before he did the actual work to Valkyrja, but it was impressive, non-the-less. She read the scans as she took them and shook her head, even more impressed as the components kept appearing. “When this is done, and word gets around about Valkyrja, RTF is going to want a ship of their own.” She could see the Black Devils with a ship like this. Well maybe something bigger than a shuttle, maybe.

“If the Captain tells me to build it, I am not apposed.” Bog was doing in miniature what was done in shipyards across the Federation.

“Their are a lot of components yet to replicate and instal, Lieutenant. These are the broad strokes. It will be an integrated system when we are done.”
