good evening captain Esign Tonav said as he reported for duty aboard the Dresden I just wanted to check in before reporting to my post

Priscilla looked up from her desk and smiled. “Ensign Tonav. Welcome aboard. Please, have a seat. I hope you got your room assignment all right?” She rose up as she motioned to the chair across from her on the other side of her desk.

The office looked like she was still moving in. The small table behind her was littered with small various objects, packing material and small boxes. A half size crate was in the corner, still, that she was unpacking from.

Tonav smiled he could tell by the look on her face that she was stressed ” please call me Tonav and judging by the look on your face that you could use a hand and no i haven’t received my room assignment yet”

Priscilla smiled and nodded. “Tonav it is, though forgive me if I forget and tend to call you Ensign on occasion. Sometimes I’m horrible with names till you’ve been here a while.” She tapped out a few commands and nodded. “Well, looks like your room assignment is on B deck, room B213. So my next question is, have you done your medical check in? If so, then tell me what brings you out into space to do science. Couldn’t you have easily done it back home?” She was smiling and relaxed, leaning back in her chair with her hands absently playing with a stylus.

Tonav looked at his pad “no I haven’t done my physical yet but for me joined Starfleet to do science as a change of pace from the diplomatic background I grew up with”
