“My apologies. Licons accent sometimes gets the better of me and I assume he is mispronouncing.” She nodded her head respectfully. “Lieutenant Hammor. As to things we need, sadly, there are several things. It seems either the last Science Chief wasn’t aware of her lack of things, or delivery was never made. I can get you the list now if you wish, or send it to you later. If you have other stops, I will simply send the requisition to you.” She smiled and shook her head. “I have to admit, I didn’t expect Ops to actually come down here. Last two ships I was on, they seemed to prefer the confines of their own office, the bridge or places where the Command Crew hung out, instead of where they were needed.”
She crossed her arms and tilted her head. “So why ‘are’ you here? Is this a one time purusal of the kingdom you have inherited or are may I come to you when I have needs in the future that seem to slip thru the cracks?” She was smiling and there was a hint of teasing mischief in her eyes and the uptick of her lip. She was, by no means, insulting him in any way.

CSOHe chuckled and said “Give me the list now, and I will work them into the incoming supplies. And by all means come find me if there is an issue. Operations is about a lot more than making sure the Officer’s Mess is stocked. And I plan on swinging by the DH offices regularly. So if you havent had a solution to an issue, call me. I’ll get it sorted.”
Hammor, Ops
“The list now, it is..” she smiled and moved back around her desk. Bending over slightly, she tapped out her console, then one of the PaDDs. Back and forth a couple times and she stood up smiling. “I have to admit,” she came around the counter and held the list towards him. “You are coming precariously close to changing my mind about Ops Officers.” She laughed lightly. “And if you aren’t careful, I’m even likely to actually come to you and tolerate you on my own without prompting.” She made a soft tsk tsk sound. “Isn’t that a horrible thing?” She smiled.
Priscilla
CSOHe stood and took the PaDD. “Sure is. You know those Ops folks… no good lazy layabout with no direction or clear idea of what they are doing. I’d hate to break that mold, for sure.” and he smiled and said “I’ll get right on this and let you know if there are any issues. Appreciate your time, Lieutenant.” and he held out a big green hand.
Hammor, Ops
She smiled and tried not to laugh. “I promise, in public, at least, to renounce your niceties and claim you are truly the cutout of your position. If you wish.” She stepped closer and took his hand. “It’s been a pleasure. And, Lieutenant,” she nodded sincerely, “thank you.”
Priscilla
CSOHammor nodded and said “My pleasure. I’m sure I’ll speak with you soon. Have a good day.” and he released her hand and returned and walked out, immediately reviewing the items on her list.
Hammor, Ops
She smiled and nodded. “Good day, Hammor.”
She watched him depart, already reading the list and shook her head moving back behind her desk as she started humming softly. Within moments, she was once more lost in her work.
