Setting: A theater. Long red curtains drape over the stage. Sitting in old dark wooden seats, the audience waits expectantly for the show to begin. Suddenly, the curtains open…

Today I am ecstatic to announce that another member joins our ranks. He is a dear friend of mine and Jerome’s and one of the best writers this club has to offer. I cannot express how happy and excited I am that he has joined our crew and that I will have the chance to write with him once again!

Ladies and gentlemen, crew of the Dresden, it’s with great pleasure that I introduce to you, the man, the legend, the Great and Powerful Oz himself, Harley Smiley!!!

The audience bursts into applause.

For those of you who don’t know him, Harley is an old member of this club (way older here than me). We wrote together in several occasions and he brought to my own ship one of the best main sims I will ever remember being a part of. This time he will be bringing on board Buddy Callum, a Security JO, which I’m sure will fit in just fine with the rest of the Dresden’s crew.

Harley, welcome to the stage– er, to the Dresden. You’ll notice that a few things have changed, but a few remain the same. A particularly cranky Marine, and a particularly paranoid Intel officer remain on board. I’m sure they won’t give you too much trouble… right?

Please join me on welcoming Harley on board, and you know the drill people, do your worst.

With an evil grin the curtain falls and the lights go off.

Joana, that was one hell of an introduction. I am humbled and honored. Thank you for welcoming me back so graciously. I am really looking forward to making new friends and reacquainting with old ones.

Ah, I forgot to delete him, but I think you beat me to the punch! Although I’m sure he lurks in the shadows as a reminder that me and Jerome will never forget what you did to Belle! :P Levi is hidden in the roster in case you want to have him run around Sickbay as well! – Joana

Perhaps a hair late, but welcome (back) to the Dresden! It would seem you’ve hit the deck running hard and fast; hopefully we can keep up… Either way, I certainly look forward to RP-ing with you!
