Stores was double checking that all was ready to bring the fighters back aboard. He had already had to clean up a couple of storage lockers and other minor snafus the civilian crews had left when they brought the tools and other supplies back aboard. It looked like unboxing the air wing was going to be a bigger PITA than boxing it had been.

Having just arrived on board, Buddy entered the area looking somewhat confused. His duffel was slung over his shoulder and he had PaDD in hand. Entering the area he called out, “Hi there! Anyone know where I might find an Ensign Reed?”

A middle aged man dressed in merchant marine brown and tan stood up from were he was trying to clean up a spilled packing case, but just seeing the uniform and the unfamiliar face. “What, only one this time? What is it now” coming around the case he walked across the deck with that unmistakable spacers gait.
