I’m sad to report that earlier this week, our GM James Harrison was forced to step down from his position on the Dresden. I thank James for his service and wish him the best. I will not rush to fill the spot just to fill the spot. This week we began the process of recruitment of a quality GM that will be with us for a long while. In the interim, I encourage you all to wrap any side sims tied to the previous sim and start thinking what your character would do upon finally returning home to Earth after a long Deep Space deployment.

Our ship-wide sim will last through the end of next month and will encompass a Shore Leave break for the crew while the Dresden goes through refit & resupply at Starbase 1. The only rules for Homebase Shore Leave are basically 1) Don’t get arrested and 2) Don’t leave planet. Post ideas include squaring up one’s quarters before an extended leave from the ship, visiting home, vacations, visiting family, etc.

I look forward to writing with you all in the coming weeks and look forward to letting you all stretch your writing legs a bit more “at home”.

Other than the Enginering sim everything I got going is pre main sim.

One assumes the closed sim is just a bad dream?
