Good Evening to the Officers & Crew of the USS Dresden,
Rarely do I get to do something as cool as welcoming a “real world” friend onto a ship under my command and never have I ever (80’s and early 90’s kids feel free to snicker) got to welcome TWO at one time. Today, we welcome Jeremiah Bullock and William Deaton into our ranks! Both are personal friends of both myself and our XO, Joana Ribeiro, and are part of my Tabletop RPG group. Jeremiah will be playing Engineering Ensign James Mason and William will be playing Security Ensign Issac Forgrave. Let’s make them feel welcome and gentlemen… make yourselves at home and welcome aboard!

Welcome to the Dresden, guys! Feel free to check in with your DHs, Sickbay, the Lounge, or roam around the corridors! We don’t generally bite. Be aware, however, of those who wear black, for they lie in the shadows and wait to attack. Also, stay out of the War Room in Deck 1. :P

Well, thank y’all for the generous welcome! I’m certainly excited to join the USS Dresden and it’s illustrious crew.
Hopefully I’ll be able to jump right in without stepping on too many toes! Please bear with me if any mistakes are made on my end, and I will take no offense from criticism or suggestions; the very least I can do is aim to improve and all y’all have been here longer than I have :)
While I have experience with tabletop RPG games and roleplay; I have limited exposure to Star Trek (though I’ve been doing my homework in the library here, as well as on Memory-Alpha & Netflix) and little to no experience with the play-by-post format. That being said, I aim to learn fast!

I (and Ensign Forgrave) sincerely look forward to meeting and interacting with the rest of the crew.
