Domingo caught himself intently watching Katie as she tucked her hair behind her ears. He shook his head lightly before grinning and gesturing her ahead, “Please lead the way.”

Katie blushed lightly under Chavez’s gaze and made her way to the door to her office, heading out into the corridors of the ship and leading the way to the lounge on Deck 8. Once there, she quickly made her way to a small bar table for two and boosted herself up onto the elevated seat. She waved a server down and politely asked, “may I please have a dirty martini with gin.” Her gaze shifted expectantly to Chavez, curious to see what his beverage of choice would be as well as monitoring his reaction to the bustling social atmosphere.

Domingo sat opposite of Katie, slowly settling in as he observed his surroundings. The hustle and bustle of the lounge had him on edge, as he had his hands white knuckle grasping the table edge. The server provided a brief distraction while he put in his own drink order, “Tequila smash please.”

His focus drifted again as he was trying to watch everywhere at once.
