“Any and all help is appreciated wherever you can give it Counsellor.” Elaine passing her tricorder over. “If you could read the scans to me as I work.-Oh no you don’t,” she suddenly said, spinning quickly, and grabbing Enj. The dog gave a small wag of his tail and licked Elaine’s hand, having been caught in the act of trying to jump up onto Chavezs biobed. “He is injured.” she scolded lightly, “You are going to stay at my feet, where I can keep an eye on you. Heel.” She plopped the dog back down and returned to her patient. Enj shook his head indignantly but stayed at her feet obediently.

“Have you been given anything for the pain?” The CMO asked quietly, grabbing a dermal regenerator and visually examining the head wound. Gently probing the edges to test the Security Officers reaction.

Domingo resisted the urge to nod his head while it was being poked at and grimaced lightly.

“I was, yes. Helped take the edge off a bit but still experiencing some weakness in my legs and vertigo.” He responded to the Doctor’s question.

Domingo looked down at the phaser left by him, but didn’t make a move to reach out for it. It would be better if he was in a better condition before taking hold of it, but at least it was in reach in case of an emergency.

Studying the tricorder, Katie reported the readings regarding Domingo’s head injury to the CMO and then winced as she watched her prod at the laceration. Chavez’s flinch caught her eye and she gently reached for his hand and squeezed it softly as the CMO continued her work. Well, she might not have any medical training, but she could always be moral support.
