Katie gave him a blank look and then an amused smile. “You did hear me when I said I’m the counselor, right? I have no idea where the armory is,” she replied with a smirk despite the severity of the situation. “I’m not sure you’re in condition to go anywhere, either,” she added, resting her hands on her hips as she studied the ensign.

It was Domingo’s turn to have a blank look on his face. His look turned into a sheepish grin when he got reminded that he was still hurt. A hypo can help feel better, but more comprehensive treatment was needed to get back into fighting shape.

“Fair enough Ma’am.” Domingo replied while his sheepish grin shifted into a smile, “I forget sometimes that other officers don’t have an intimate knowledge of the layout of the ship. Must be a security thing, well, and probably engineering. As for my condition you are most likely correct. I don’t know if we have the benefit of my being down if the intruders make it to here with the injured about. Can you tell me of where you were met with phaser fire?”

The slight amusement that had come onto Katie’s features quickly disappeared at Domingo’s question. Her eyes got a faraway look as she briefly relived the terrifying experience of waking from her all too realistic nightmare and then making her way to Sickbay. It was obvious that she was fighting to bring her mind back to the present and one forced deep breath later, she responded, her voice slightly shaky, “I was in my quarters on deck five. I made it to the Turbolift and then here.”
