It could be seen on examination that there was a head wound from which blood had been seeping, possibly as a result from the ship rocking and head meeting bulkhead.

Katie didn’t have much medical training but it didn’t take graduation from medical school to realize that his head wound was likely the issue at hand. She smiled slightly sardonically at him as she commented, “we match,” indicating her own gash on her forehead. Copying the steps that Bailey had taken to treat her concussion, she glanced around and then administered the hypospray.

“Unfortunately, I’m not much help beyond offering some pain relief and something to help with the woozy,” she commented. “I’m actually the counselor,” she added with a small smirk. “Not that you’d know since I ran here from bed…” She indicated the loose pajama bottoms and t-shirt she was wearing as well as the fuzzy warm slippers to emphasize her point. “Why don’t you come lie down over here and we’ll find an actual medical professional for you…” she continued, wrapping an arm around him to guide him to a nearby chair given all of the biobeds had quickly filled up.

Domingo gratefully accepted the help over to the chair before sagging into it.

“Thank you very much.” He said while the hypo eased the throbbing in his head and ache in his body.

“Do you know if we have a sitrep on what’s going on? Is there a threat to the ship?” He asked, while trying to shift his mental gears off of himself and to the ship.

Katie smiled at him again and made sure that he was situated as comfortably as possible in the chair as she considered his question.

“Well, given the phaser fire I had to dodge to make it into the turbolift, I’d say there’s one heck of an issue,” she commented, feeling her stomach turn once again as she remembered the trip from her quarters to sickbay. “I tried to contact the bridge before I headed here but I didn’t get much response. I don’t know if comms are down or what…”
