Closing her fingers around the small isolinear chip she had found on Lorenzo, Wright turned to the Dresden’s CE and smiled. “Thank you for coming, Commander. I need your help with this vessel and I couldn’t think of anyone more qualified than you. After all, engineering is not really my forte.” She paused for a moment before continuing. “The crew is gone. There were three guards posted outside a room accessed through the corridor, and I have a small suspicion this chip might be its key or the key to something inside it.” Molly showed Losc the isolinear chip in her hand. “The Efrosians accused the Ardanans of art theft. Maybe we’ll find the pieces they were speaking about. If you’re up to some treasure hunting… But first, I heard you are a… machine empath? For lack of a better word…” Molly’s gaze was intense. “Is there anything you can tell me about this ship?”
Capt. Wright, CIO
The ship was custom made with Federation technology. It was well made and with a rather complex security system for a ship of the size. At the moment, it was well maintained and, if machines were able to feel, the ship would be ‘happy and contented’.

OOC: Sorry. Corrected the above post. Did not know that the absence of a space would change it to a link.

Orin took a moment and closed his eyes feeling the ship.
“The ship is in good condition and well maintained. Overall it’s a happy vessel. And yes, I am up for treasure hunting, where’s the room we need to access.” Orin asked nto having been there to see where the guards had been stationed.

If Molly had been a ship, she doubted that she would have been happy at the hands of the Ardanans. But she knew what Losc meant.
“Follow me.” Wright said leaving the vessel’s Bridge and going back to the door in front of which the guards had been posted. “There was too much security for this to be a simple storage room.” Molly said as she analyzed the door. “Hopefully we can break in.” She said as she looked at the chip she had found and at the door’s mechanism.
Capt. Wright, CIO
The door controls had a number pad and a slot that was about the same width as the chip the CIO had obtained from Lorenzo.

Orin inspected the locking mechanism.
“Looks like a key and code system. We might want to search the ship’s Command staff for anything looking like it might fit the slot.” Orin said as he examined the keypad for wear and traces of oils left by fingers.
It had been a while since Orin played warm/cold with a keypad. He hoped a keycard would make the process simpler.

“Let’s hope Lorenzo gave us everything we need.” Molly said as she inserted the chip into the slot. “Otherwise, we’ll have to put our codebreaker hats on, Commander. And I can assure you, you’re probably way better than me at that game…”
Wright waited to see if the chip was enough to open the door.
Capt. Wright, CIO
The effort paid off. The door opened and they entered a small room, 3 metre square. There were several boxes of different sizes. The CIO recognised one with the glyphs of the Efrosian language.
