In the beginning, it had been a small game, hidden away in an unused corner of the lower Engineering deck. Eventually, word had spread and it soon had become a little too big for the space. Today, it was one of the pressing issues in Manning’s personal to do list.

The moment she had gotten off duty, Amelia walked down to deck 13 where she hoped to find the office of the Dresden’s COB. She had never interacted much with the man outside of the Bridge, but she was hoping he might be able to help her.

Pressing the door chime, Manning straightened her uniform’s tunic and waited to be called inside.

Lt. Cmdr. Manning, XO

=^=Come in=^= the gruff voice of the COB came though the chime. He was sitting at his desk and appeared to be engaged in a tense conversation with someone on a nearby view screen.

=^=I don’t care Chief Manning, you need to find away to control that kid. We can’t have him streaking through the lower level corridors after midnight anymore. Eventually command.=^=he stopped when he noticed who was standing at the door. He looked up at the XO then back at the screen. =^=Control that kid chief, or it will escalate Chief, COB out=^= He pressed the button on the screen then turned to his attention to the XO.

“Sorry about that Commander, I wish you hadn’t heard that. I wasn’t ready to bring it to your attention yet.” He said apologetically.
