Bethany was unpacking her things in her new quarters on deck 5. She had almost finished when she realized that a particular PaDD was missing. She went through everything not finding it. Tapping a finger on her lower lip in thought she stood looking around her quarters. “Well I couldn’t have most it in here, yet. Where did I put that? I know I had it on the shuttle.” She signed and left to head back down to shuttle bay 2. It had to still be inside her shuttle.

She took the turbolift down to deck 30 and shuttle bay 2. She walked in and looked around. She approached the first person she could find to ask where her shuttle had been berthed.

The shuttle deck was finally settling down after stowing the ‘hot’ shuttle. The first green shirt the Counselor saw was Petty officer Iverson. Looking up from the PADD he was making notes on he sighed. “The LT had that hot mess moved to cargo bay five, after three of our favorite numskulls bought tickets to sickbay, M’am.”

“Well I will head to cargo bay 5 then, Thank you Petty Officer.” Bethany successfuly hides her smile until she’s out in the corridor. Someone must have tried to outsmart the security system, for it to be that bad. She’d have to turn that off, the CO might think it was funny, but never say, but she was sure the XO would have her hide for it. Oh well. She’d warned the crew who took over her. Guess they didn’t listen. She took the turbolift up to deck 26. She moved down the corridor and walked into the cargo bay. Oh dear, they really had moved it to a cargo bay. She shook her head and moved over to the shuttle, placing her hand on the access panel the shuttle’s bay door hissed and opened. She stepped in and moved to the pain control panel. Placing her hand on it, “Computer recognize Lt. Gadi, Alpha romeo zeta. Deactivate security system.” SYSTEM DEACTIVATED. She shook her head. She’d have to check and see what the crewman had done to make the system go off like that.
