Transporter Rooms tended to look the same after a while, Freja thought to herself as she materialized on the pad. At last, she’d made it to her first command. She found it rather amusing that command would assign her to a command placed in the entirely opposite direction from her last assignment on the USS Armstrong. It was, however, exactly what she signed up for. Given most of her family were in Starfleet at one point or another, she had always known exactly what to expect from serving.

Adjusting the shoulder bag, she nodded to the tech, “Captain Freja Andreassen, your new CO,” she spoke by way of introduction, regarding the young crewman with her dark eyes, “Is Captain Jacobs still aboard?” She wasn’t certain if the outgoing CO was still about, sometimes orders didn’t allow for a proper change in command type of ceremony.

The transporter chief blinked for a few moments before nodding in the affirmative.

Koria walked into the transporter room, looking over a large PaDD in her hand with the outstanding repairs on it. “Chief, we need to....” She paused as she looked up, noticing the new person standing on the transporter pad.

“Um, hi. Sorry, I didn’t know that we were expecting someone. Um…” She then noticed the pipps. “Captain.”
