=^=Where-ever you’d prefer is fine by me.=^= Alt Argeneau commented. While sick bay was easier, the engineering compartment wouldn’t be difficult.
Katelyn offered a shrug to Jen, interpreting his confusion to be regarding why they had to leave Sickbay at all. At this point, she didn’t want to argue with Argeneau; she just wanted to get this done with so that she could save her ship and her crew. After Jen had issued the orders to the relevant officers, she flashed him a very human thumbs up. “Let’s get a move on it,” she commented. “This ship is just way too damn big,” she added, with an eye roll as she realized they were going to be scampering several decks no matter what.

Jen let slip a small smile, his antennae showing more amusement than his face. “Lets. Engineering awaits.” He turned to Argeneau. =^= Well done on managing to bore through to us. You may well have saved us all. See you on Deck 18. =^= Then, to the Captain, “After we go through the maze perhaps us mice will find some cheese at the other end.” He smiled again. “I prefer your earth blue cheese.”
- Jen“Never had it,” Katelyn remarked with a shrug. “I grew up on Betazed. You can introduce me to it after we get out of this mess.” She had began to use a colorful word before the word mess, but decided that she’d had her fill of cursing for the day… perhaps the year, the way the day had been going.

Jen held back the comment that Betazed had some pretty odd foods in his opinion. His private thought to that - which, technically was not so private there - was that they did that to elicit genuine gripes about the food. With a world of telepaths he presumed it would take a fair bit of prompting to coax out some ‘unfiltered’ thoughts.

“Good.” Ryley said after them as they started to leave. “It’s about time you took this somewhere else. This is a sickbay not a damned teleconferencing hub.” He grumbled. “What the hell do I look like I have an MD in, starfleet communications.” He said to no one in particular as he started the task of coordinating the rest of the injuries and tidying up the mess of sickbay.

As Jen was leaving, he couldn’t help but crack more of a smile. “And I thought Doctors were good communicators. All that practice with bedside manner. You have to admit, she’s much more interesting than the EMH,” he commented as he exited.
