It took Lt. Rogers and his team five minutes to reach Riloc at the computer core. “Lt. Rogers we have new orders. We are to patrol the ship. Make sure everything is secure. We have had reports of possible incursion, if we see anything we are to report it to the Captian. The marines are doing the same, Commander Hawkins is staying here with her team to keep the CE and her team safe.” He paused to make sure he did not over load the new comer.

“Remember check your corners, check your door ways and keep your team close by.”

“Patrol?” The Lieutenant questioned with his tone. “It takes five minutes to move from deck to deck. I would take an hour to cover a third of the ship… in that time our enemy certain could have evaded us.”

Riloc raised an eyebrow. “Did I stutter Lt. Roger’s?” He asked.

“No.”

“Yes patrol. The marines are patrolling as well. I will be delegating patrols to all available security teams and members who have only recently become available.”

He breathed in. “You and your team will be patrolling decks 14 - 20. You will report to either me or Commander Hawkins every 10 minutes or the moment you suspect. Understood.” His voice was firm, unusual for him a person of flamboyant disposition. But current times meant leadership was needed.

The Lieutenant tilted his head in surrender. If the Chief wanted patrols… patrols were what he was going to get. “Aye.” The Lieutenant turned to his team. “Those decks aren’t getting swept with us standing here.” He paused for a moment and then jogged off leading his team at the quick step. The patrol would be a joke if they didn’t move quickly.
