Ryley frowned as the new problem presented itself, when she looked around he immediately moved in her direction. The need for help was evident. He hadn’t quite reached her as she crumpled. “Oh fantastic....” he muttered. Turning his head he yelled to the first passing NE “oi skippy…could use a hand here.” And carefully knelt beside the woman to check if she was conscious.

The young ensign was conscious, but seemingly intensely emotionally distraught. She did not react to Ryley’s presence as she curled in a protective ball on the floor of Sickbay.

Ryley shook her. “Hey,” he said gruffly and shook her again. “Are you hurt?” He asked and did a quick scan with the tricorder. “Can you tell me what happened?”

“Intruders…” mumbled the young ensign as she stirred slightly. There were no obvious physical ailments the woman was suffering; the technical term for her diagnosis would be “freaked out.”

Ryley raised an eyebrow. “Intruders? As in intruders on the ship or intruders in that whacked out cranium of yours?” He tried to help her up. “Come on, up You get and we will find you something nice and calming…like some cocoa, or a scotch or a mild sedative.”

Inky black eyes connected with Ryley’s as the ensign muttered. “I could feel extra presences.” With that, she fell soundly asleep in the middle of the floor, exhausted by her encounter.

OOC: I’m confused as how calling to the sickbay will get you some indication? Am I missing something.

OOC: Sorry Luke, not meaning in the way of the call but a hope that that was mentioned in the return call back so that I can segue things together and tie the topics together to pursue that string. .. Gene

OOC: I just used an NE to bring that detail back up again since it got missed with all of the crew transition and I think we’re trying not to meta-game too much. Jacobs is a telepath, but I didn’t know about it before writing her into the shuttle storyline. I don’t think you need to do anything here, it’s just getting the information from Ryley to Jen.
