There was a sudden whine across every deck of the ship… it sounded like bulkheads literally crushing underneath their own weigh, but all of the pressure was coming from the outside. The ship’s gravity and other life support went to zero as the computer attempted to steal power from every other system to repower the shields and the internal force-fields.

The lights and other auxiliary systems dimmed to almost zero as the computer activated the red alert klaxons.

The whining ceased after a few moments as the lights and life-support returned.

Heather paused as the ship started to sound as if every bulkhead was literally crushing underneath their own weight, She looked around wondering what the hell was going on and was surprised that the alert klaxons were working. At this moment Heather was wondering if coms were working again or not. hitting her combadge as she continued towards the Jefferies tube access she’d exited earlier in hopes that the coms were open. =^= “Argeneau to Main Engineering,” Heather said in hopes that she’ll get through.
