Reporting for duty required two check ins to clear an officer. One was medical, that was a given. The other… Ryley sighed and tapped his cane firmly against the floor. Now clean and wearing new Jeans and a blazer jacket over a blue shirt he had even had time to trim his beard and his hair from the unruly mess he was in when the captain picked him up,
He sighed and scratched his beard. He hated the CNS appointments, which tended to either become overly touchy feely and tried to put him in touch with his emotions, tried to cure him of some sort of psychiatric condition or were outright hostile. There ever was an in between.
Half wondering what Jacobs would say if he had to return to her, cap in hand, and say nope sorry Kiddo. No duty for me, just drop me off on Risa on your way past there’s a good Skipper. Ryley clenched his fist and rubbed the thumb and forefinger of the fist across his furrowed brow. He lifted the cane and jabbed the chime of the door with the bottom of it and waited.
