Ryley we attention immediately flashed to the communicator badge and a small smirk appeared on his face. He refilled her glass and took another swig for himself. “See, I was right, this doesn’t interest me.” He said and turned away to face the bar again. Without looking at her he added “You know there’s a lot of people who would pay a pretty penny for that purely for the components.”Ryley
MDKatelyn watched as he refilled the glass and took a small sip as he finished, but then tossed it back down onto the bar as Ryley turned away from her. Her small hand soon gripped his shoulder as she tugged him back to face her. “It turns out that I don’t need many pennies, but I do need a Chief Medical Officer,” she commented, dark eyes boring into his face. “What does interest you these days? Bar fights and scotch?”
Jacobs, CO
The greying doctor grimaced as she gripped his injured shoulder momentarily. He looked at her, icy blue eyes matching the dark stare she had fixed him with.
“I figured as much. Why is it never my boyish charms you people are after.” He shrugged himself into a more comfortable position and played pensive with the scotch. “That fight wasnt my fault. All i wanted was enough for passage. Not my problem the Klingons got a temper issue.” He glanced at the other man. “You know he probably should take a mood stabaliser.”
Ryley
MD“I didn’t say it was your fault,” Katelyn easily countered, letting her grip on his shoulder loosen as she felt the brief wave of pain. “And if it’s your boyish charms that need attention, you can take me out to dinner on the holodeck to make up for having to dig through this drama to find you.” A disgusted look on her face emphasized her point as she glanced around the bar again. “But I need you on my ship.” Despite the slightly pleading nature of her words, her voice remained steady, bordering on demanding.
Jacobs, CO
Ryley chuckled lightly, the corner of his mouth turning up. “You see this is exactly why I don’t do friends normally. So demanding They always come asking for things at the most awkward of times. I mean can’t you see I’ve just gotten on the locals good side…I’ve reduced my chances of getting knifed tonight while I sleep rough from 50 to 89% and you want me to give that all up? Jacobs…I’m surprised at you.”
He drank again. “How the hell did you find me anyway?”
