Ryley we attention immediately flashed to the communicator badge and a small smirk appeared on his face. He refilled her glass and took another swig for himself. “See, I was right, this doesn’t interest me.” He said and turned away to face the bar again. Without looking at her he added “You know there’s a lot of people who would pay a pretty penny for that purely for the components.”

Katelyn watched as he refilled the glass and took a small sip as he finished, but then tossed it back down onto the bar as Ryley turned away from her. Her small hand soon gripped his shoulder as she tugged him back to face her. “It turns out that I don’t need many pennies, but I do need a Chief Medical Officer,” she commented, dark eyes boring into his face. “What does interest you these days? Bar fights and scotch?”

The greying doctor grimaced as she gripped his injured shoulder momentarily. He looked at her, icy blue eyes matching the dark stare she had fixed him with.

“I figured as much. Why is it never my boyish charms you people are after.” He shrugged himself into a more comfortable position and played pensive with the scotch. “That fight wasnt my fault. All i wanted was enough for passage. Not my problem the Klingons got a temper issue.” He glanced at the other man. “You know he probably should take a mood stabaliser.”
