Sheriye was just finishing up the latest downloads for the labs library system when the ship suddenly lurched . While she was thrown from the tall backless stool she had been perched upon her Caitian reflexes allowed her to get her feet under her and she landed on the deck in a crouch.

OOC: Well that would be a hell of an impressive landing considering the awe inspiring stop of the ship…

Looking around the empty lab lit by the programmed dimming of the night shift lights she frowned in concern before moving back to the console to see if she could get a status update.

The screen was dim… far too dim but it was still functioning. Even on emergency power the screen should have enough power to be at full illumination. The report was very incomplete. Shriye could tell that there was critical power failures all across the first six decks, but that was all the computer would report. It was as if the rest of the ship was cut off.
