Even after being on board for a few days, Aurra was still slightly uncomfortable in her own quarters. As soon as she crossed the threshold into her private space, she had the freedom to be quiet, off duty and non communicative—all things she usually enjoyed. However, she’d left the bridge, returned to her rooms and gotten out of the red and black uniform, exchanging it for a pair of hip hugging, wide leg pants and a sleeveless top. She was crossing from her desk to the replicator at 2242 hrs, when the ship shook as if it had been impacted. She almost lost her footing as she reached for the commbadge sitting on her desk.=/\=Bridge, this is the Captain. What’s happening?=/\=

OOC: Ignore the question on the bridge… I responded to that thread before I read this one.

=^=We’ve been yanked out of warp!!=^= Then ensign literally had to yell to be heard over the warning and alarm claxons on the bridge. =^=And put at a full stop in under 1 second. If it weren’t for the inertial dampeners we’d be a stain on the front wall, I have injuries all over the bridge.... =^=
“Turn the alarms off… I can’t think,..”
Ensign Overwhelmed.
GMAs Aurra raced to her closet for a uniform, she responded to the bridge. =/\=Notify the XO and all department heads. I want them on the bridge or reporting to their departments immediately. I’m on my way, give me 5 minutes.=/\=
She set a record for dressing in a hurry, heading for the door to the corridor while still zipping up the tunic of her uniform. What could have made them drop out of warp like that? Engineering would have the best answers for that.
OOC: Does she get to the bridge?
—CO Talisse
It was a much longer trip than it should have been, none of the doors worked and she had to manually open each hatch would took minutes. When she finally climbed through the hatch in the floor at the back of the bridge she was both tired and dirty.
The Ensign turned, “Captain, we don’t have communication out of this section.” He glanced back to his board. “I know we have massive damage, but the computer isn’t giving out any reports further than compartment 8 and deck 4. (That was only a few dozen meters aft of the bridge).
