USS Chimera
Security Office - Sorting out the mess. (Meet and greet/help me fix up my office)
Posted by Lieutenant Junior Grade Davon Riloc (Chief of Security) in Security Office - Sorting out the mess. (Meet and greet/help me fix up my office)
The first thing Davon noticed about his new office was that a lot of things had been shaken off the wall during whatever events had transpired before he arrived on the Chimera. He stepped over the threshold hearing and feeling the crunch of glass underfoot. He wiped off the desk with backside of his uniform sleeve . I can always get the uniform clean, he thought to himself. He did wander where all the dust had come from but didn’t question it too much.It was going to take time to get his office in order. By the looks of things the Chimera wouldn’t be going anywhere for a while so he had the time. He hoped the dry dock would spare a few security crew to help bulken up security for until the new recruits arrived aboard.
The security console in his desk was cracked and flashing with a faint hum of broken power circuits, a spark flew out. He decide at that point he would have to cut the power to the desk unless he wanted an unpleasant trip to sickbay for anything other than his physical later on.
It took him a few minutes to get the panel off the desk with it being bent on its catches. Once he was in it was basic engineering to remove the power for the the time being. He’d ask the engineers to do the heavy repair works. He was thankful that he had a list of the security team in his quarters otherwise he would have no idea who was who until they turned up at his door.
“They really did a number on this ship.” He said to himself as he picked up a hand sized piece of wall panelling off the floor before chucking it out the door. He sighed as he started the laborious task of moving pieces of waste to make something that may resemble a clear and safe walk way to and from the office.

“Hey there! Watch where you’re throwing things!!”
An attractive, blond woman peeked her head around the open door and then straightened and leaned in the doorway. “Its dangerous to blindly throw things where others might be walking, you know.” Her light hair encircled her head in thick, French braids and she was dressed in the uniform of a Marine. “Major Taylor Zigman, and you are?”
