Tenkiller scowled. Then a thought occured to him. =/\= Computer. Pull all incoming and outgoing correspondence from each of the following personnel for the past one hundred and eighty days. Sort by point of origin for incoming and destination for outgoing. Add in all ship-based comms as well. =/\= He then looked at Argeneau and said “Maybe we can see if there is an oddity in their communications. Otherwise, we will have to move on to surveillance of all of them.”

“That would be nice, think we’d get that lucky?” She watched the computer compile the information requested.

“As my Ma would say> ‘If the Good Lord is willing and the creek don’t rise.’ Fingers crossed. We could make it interesting. Wanna bet on whether or not it works?” he said with a grin.

“Depends on the stakes.” Heather smirked. “I like your ma.” she added.

Heather actually laughed at that, Though eating food helped to build her own blood naturally she didn’t normally eat food anymore, it’s been more than 100 years since she last ate food really. “Deal.” She smirked knowing her replicator would do the cooking for her.

Tenkiller said “Great.” and waited while the computer compiled the requested information.

OOC: Yep, to tell us if the cross reference worked.

OOC: Shoot… I don’t know how I missed the question.

The cross reference was very curious. But it wasn’t completely successful in the way they thought. What it did detect that one of those people did receive a message from off ship but the reference was deleted and the computer system whined in annoyance that it could not reveal the data - the search caused some sort of progressive cascade failure in the storage unit… revealing another act of sabotage....

Before the computer completely deleted the information. It was able to report that a questionable unidentified message had come almost at the same time as the ship had received their orders from the Admiral to investigate the pirates.

Who ever created the deletion and the back door from the communication and bypassed many of the security systems and communications to the ship would just process straight though without any blocks. Both officers would remember that when the Admiral had first given the ship their orders his communication went though to the bridge main screen without any ‘opening’ of frequencies of the operations officer.

IC: Tenkiller looked at the data, what there was of it, and scowled. “Are you kidding me?” and he slid the PaDD over to Heather. “What do you make of this?”

Heather accepted the PADD and looked over the information frowning as she did so, “Someone planned this out and it came from off ship or made to look as if it came from off ship.” She frowned looking to Tenkiller.

Tenkiller frowned himself. “So what we have is someone on board working with someone off ship, and perhaps in the Admiral’s office. I think we need to get the Skipper involved, Chief. And who received the message that deleted itself?” he asked, moving next to Argeneau to look over her shoulder at the PaDD.
