I was hoping to handle most of this in the background without having to interrupt anything with out of character commentary, but there are members of this ship who have other ideas. So here we go, buckle up.

You might have noticed the GM had to resign. I am attempting to write a way to end the simm in a way that actually makes logical sense. I haven’t been successful yet because of the following issues:

1. I had car trouble earlier this week, it’s resolved, yes, but I had to DEAL with that. Luckily, I’m on vacation from my job so I didn’t have extra complication layered on top but it shouldn’t matter either way. I’m an adult, I need to work to keep myself fed and sheltered, I can’t spend 24 hours a day in this club.

2. I have multiple vacancies that I am filling right now. It sucks and it takes time, I would love it if people resigned in an orderly fashion that allows me to fill one position before I have to focus on another, but that’s often not reality. So while I’m not posting 20 odd posts on my ship, I’m doing things in the club that you wouldn’t see unless you happen to be in my inbox.

3. Also, I have other obligations in this club. One of which is CO Course tutor and I can’t just make an exam super fast and return it, it’s a CO exam, it’s difficult and it’s meant to be important.

4. I have had at least 25 emails in my communications center in less than a week. Seriously, I’m surprised the damn thing hasn’t broken. I don’t normally see that much in six months, let alone six days....

So yes, I might have missed some posts. If there was something specifically for the CO to address, kindly send me an email through my contact list with a link to the post so that I can find it. Otherwise, please be patient because I am trying sort through paperwork and it’s not going well.

I hope this dissuades you from some notion that I’m not doing anything and am ignoring you. If not, please tender your resignation immediately because I will unfortunately continue to disappoint you. I cannot create more hours in the day, believe me…I’ve tried.
