Just like when they transported to the Chimera from the Godzilla (aka Halcyon) the fighters were attached to the hull of the Chimera through their maglocks during the entire trip through the wormhole. That was an experience IRIS had never had. It was ‘interesting’. Not that they could see anything, the Templar fighters had no windows, but the readings on the displays were something else.

In the cockpits of the Templar Class Marine Fighters of the 214 alpha squadron, the lights went red and an automated voice said =/\= Wormhole jump complete. Prepare for deployment. =/\=

IRIS hit her comms, =/\=Delta squadron check-in=/\= She was a member of Col. Lardel’s alpha squadron, but she was leader of Delta. In the hanger bay of the Chimera, her squad was awaiting orders to load and deploy Col Cull’s Raiders battalion. Beta squadron, their SAR teams, was already loaded and prepared to deploy should they find anyone or anything once they cleared the wormhole.

M’alek did one last cross check ensuring all systems were green, the recalibration had been a huge success, he was now in love with the templar it felt more like an exo suit than a space fighter, an extension of himself almost. =/\= “Delta Tree up and ready” =/\= he responded over coms expecting to release the mag locks.

Quickly every aviator and support team in Delta responded at the ready. She acknowledged each and then opened her comm to Lardel’s fighter, =/\=Delta squadron at the ready Colonel.=/\= The whole while, IRIS was watching her display, making note of the ships in the fleet and keeping an eye out for anything moving towards them.

OOC: We have 4 squads. Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta. Lardel is head of Alpha and all squad leaders are also part of his squad. They are also specialized tactics

Beta is our search and rescue

Gamma was never specifically decided.

Delta is ground troop deployment and coverage. Take your pick.
