Shortly after the meeting on DS9 was over. The Commander had asked Lieutenant Hall to meet him in the observation lounge and she responded to it calmly. She then had got back aboard the Chimera and she took the turbolift. As she went toward the turbolift the doors swooshes open. Lieutenant Hall then stepped in and told it. “Observation Lounge.” She requested the turbolift to go. The doors later swooshes closed and started heading to the observation lounge. She then felt a stop at the observation deck and the doors swooshes wide open. She got off of the turbolift and started to head to the observation lounge. She had then spotted the commander sitting at a table. She came up to him. “Sir. I know this isn’t a social call and I know your higher then I am. But permission to sit.” As she asked permission to sit down in front of him.

“Lieutenant Hall, you may sit.” Lunan stood, initially facing the viewport looking out onto Deep Space Nine. He did not know much of Hall’s background prior to joining the Chimera, but from what he had seen, she seemed like a hell of an officer. He was about to find out whether her outburst on DS9 was truly out of character.

“You want to tell me what happened back there?”

“Well sir. As you already know I’m the Chief of Security and you also know my duty is to know and what to expect when it was coming for this mission. The only reason why I made an outburst the way I did wasn’t to be demanding. It was to know the security risk. And as Chief of Security I don’t like minimal information when it comes to a mission like this. And as for my outburst I do apologize. It wasn’t like me and I’m just glad that our junior officers weren’t there. But anyways. If I had overstepped the line. I am sorry. I just feel like not having enough information is going to make it where I might end up doing what I did. And it was unofficer like of me to do so. Sir.” She explained as she felt bad for what she did.

Though, the way she asked for more information wasn’t exactly the way an officer should’ve asked. But she did it anyways. Lieutenant Hall felt bad for how she made that unofficer like attitude.

“Lieutenant -,” The Bajoran corrected himself, “Melanie, there are going to be times where we feel like we’re walking blind into a sea of endless mystery. Questions may go unanswered for a long time, but we’ll do what we can to pull through them together as a crew. More than that, as a family. I suppose all I’m saying is, trust us.”
