While sitting in my office after her appointment with the counselor. However, she still wonders if she has done a good job. But then she knows that she did. After the fact that she also had went to the captain about her junior officer under her getting a promotion she was a little tired. Not from her job but her body was tired.

The door chime would disrupt the Security Chief mental reflections. Ensign Gallahan waited at the other side of the door to be called in.

She sat there and heard her chime go off. She then looked up and said “Enter!”. She yelled from her desk. “Oh. Hello Ensign. How can I help you today?” She asked. Knowing that she has a connection with her junior officer as his Superior officer.

“Thank you, Ma’am.” Gallahan said as he walked in. “Well, I just wanted to call in for a bit of an impromptu review I guess. I want to make sure I’m hitting the marks and if there is anything I can do to improve with-in the Security Department?” He asked candidly.

“Well from what it looks like here. You’re doing great ensign. However, I did notice over the duration of our long shift with the Marines, you deserve to have a break. But um from I can tell you are doing great. With just the two of us I got to admit a good team. But probably just a little more communication it comes to those types of things.” She says with a little smile.

“Yes, Ma’am. Absolutely.” Scott nodded. He’d been thinking the same. He did feel like he was part of a successful team, but he knew he could be even better. That was, after all, his nature. He was never completely satisfied until he felt like he getting everything out of himself to perform as best as he could in what he was doing,
“I always appreciate your feedback, Ma’am. I always to make sure I’m doing right by you and the ship.”
