NE Uze a Bajoran was standing at the transporter console as was her station she was bored of course it was always a boring shift being assigned to the Transporter room she did not understand how some officers could stand it but she had been talked into requesting standing watches at the Transporters however word had come down that the Senior staff was going to be transporting over to the station rather than wait for docking which meant something was up while sure that alleviated the boredom today tomorrow was probably going to be just as boring as would be the day after that and the day after that still she was running her final diagnostics now would not do to put the senior staff into the transporter only for them to materialize on the station as formless jelly!

“Everything running as it should be Ensign?” Freja stepped into the transporter room, observing the NE at work. She trusted the rest of her senior staff would be close on her heels.

Bob was next to arrive. He had left Logan in charge of the diagnostics. He knew the Ensign was ambitious and this would give him some responsibility and a chance to prove himself. Bob looked around the transporter room excitedly, he was very much looking forward to this new mission- his first as part of the Chimera’s crew. He saw the Captain and strode over.
“Good day Captain! I can’t wait to get started.” Bob stated, his voice almost echoing around the room.

Melanie had arrived into the transporter room as well. She had noticed the new Chief Engineer on board and the captain as well. She stood there with them both. “Captain. Lieutenant. How are you both doing?” Hall asked with a smile on her face.

“Oh yes ma’am Just running a diagnostic” she replied to the captain “Should be done in just a few moments!” she added continuing the final check

Bob looked over to Melanie and smiled.
“Hello Lieutenant!” He stated jovially. “I’m splendid thanks. This is exciting isn’t it? A new mission!” He stated rubbing his hands together and looking over to the Ensign.
“How are you Lieutenant?” He asked looking back over to Melanie.
