The briefing room in the Marine section of the Chimera was actually the offices of the Marine Headquarters Company. The various offices housed different sections within the company; each one specialized to support the Raider Battalion in specific ways. In the center of the offices was a large meeting room, glassed in and capable of seating forty in rows in front of a presentation screen; of twenty around a large conference table that was lowered into the deck when not in use.

The table was currently up and seated at the head was the large reptilian form of the Raider’s Commanding Officer, Lieutenant Colonel Drangon Cull. His dark eyes were fixed on a PaDD as he reviewed the operation reports from the various sections. He had extended an invitation to the Marine Aviators form the Black Sheep Squadron and to the ship’s Security section. All had been present and participatory in the evacuation of the now-destroyed cruise liner; and he thought a full perspective of how the operation was handled would be prudent.
