It was 0200 As the Chimera sailed the void between missions NLT Juri Sato a Half Caitian officer was at the ops console next to her was NE Bragg a Tellarite “So Bragg you going to Join in on the Gridiron game? Come on We need a Running back and I think you would be perfect I mean ok your not a very fast runner but at the same time…” her badgering was interrupted to Braggs relief by a beeping at her console “Command calling Priority one for the captain =^=”Bridge to Captain Andreassen Sorry to wake you but a Priority one call from Starfleet command is coming in for you”=^= she called using the comms to reach out to the captain.

=^=Acknowledged, pipe it down to my quarters please,=^= Came the reply, if the Captain had been awakened by the call, her voice gave no indication.

Meanwhile, Freja rolled out of bed and pulled on her waiting uniform and finger-brushed her loose hair before quickly coiling it behind her, she preferred to braid her shoulder-length hair, but part of her was hoping once she answered and issued any orders to her staff, she could go back to sleep for a bit.

Making her way to her desk, she saw the flashing light indicating an incoming message, settling into the chair she pressed it.

It was Admiral Jainia Rivers the human had mostly Silver hair though one streak of blond still existed woven into a long braid that was slung over her shoulder she was a stern and imposing woman however she was known to be an understanding ‘go with the flow type” of admiral .

“Admiral Rivers,” Freja greeted with a nod.

“Captain I need to reassign you and the Chimera temporarily to Deep Space Nine The USS Porthos needs to be brought back to Sol for an overhaul and we have no other ships to send out there at the moment You will, of course, be returned to Pioneer Fleet once the overhaul of the Porthos is completed and we can send her back to DS9 I know its going to be a multi-month trip so settle in for a long ride” she said smiling.

“Sounds like a nice little side excursion, I’ll get my helm to set a course for DS9. Is there anything else we should know ma’am?”

“No, not at this time, I’ll leave you to get your ship underway,” and with that the Admiral was gone.

Tapping her badge, =^=Andreassen to bridge, lay in a course for Deep Space 9, warp 6, engage when ready.=^=

Mentally calculating how long that journey would take, she sent a message to her XO & Department heads with the basics of the orders. They were in for a few days of journeying, so there wasn’t any point in waking anyone up for a meeting.

And with that she went back to sleep for a few hours.

OOC: Thanks Kirt for writing up these mission orders. Our pre-mission goal is to get the ship to DS9 (which if you view the starchart through the GM Dept, we’ve got a bit of a hike), I think we can do that and then in August, the mission will begin in earnest. :)
