With the Empress passengers mostly cleared out, the Raiders were helping the flight deck crew clear and move shuttles to decks 14 and 15 for repairs and room for the fighters to land as needed.=/\=Major Esp, this is Cpt sh’Rharror. Empress Command crew incoming. Colonel Cull says they might be in a bad mood.=/\=
Manika’s beak snapped together and a trilling whistle (a laugh) sounded. She was sure. She waved over a group, “Krelk, form up a guard.” =/\=We’re ready for them, Cpt.=/\= The avian major responded.
She looked up, “Cmdr Lunan. Empress command crew incoming.” She waved him over to where the stragglers were being beamed aboard.

Lunan jogged over to the edge of the shuttlebay and felt his chest tighten slightly, “Good work peoplem how many of the passengers and crew do we have so far?”
-Lt. Commander Lunan Farrah: XO-
“Most of them, Sir,” Esp trilled. “The evacuation team is tagging anyone they find and piggy backing them over with the transporters your people amplified. We just got word the evacuation team is going in to get the command team off the Empress.”
Maj. Manika-Esp, 2IC, Marine Battalion
Lunan nodded quickly, “Good work Major, my compliments to the Battalion, do we have a window on when the Empress’ command crew will be over on our side?”
-Lt. Commander Lunan Farrah: XO-
“It should be within the next 10 minutes, Sir. 15 maybe if they have trouble accessing the bridge. Col. Cull and his team are breaching now,” Esp told him.
Maj. Manika-Esp, 2IC, Marine Battalion
“Can I access the holo-feed, see how they’re getting on?” Lunan asked, genuinely eager to see the Marines perform.
-Lt. Commander Lunan Farrah: XO-
The avian marine looked at the Fleet XO with her piercing eyes and sharp beak firmly closed. “That would be highly unusual, Sir. Surveillance of the Raider’s tactics and procedures is highly protected, as such we do not give out our transponder codes. Given the type of work we do, if such information were to be leaked it would be devastating to our success and the safety of our officers.” That wasn’t to say they had no oversight, they did, but the work they did was often very dangerous. However, Cull had made it clear they were to do their best to work with the Fleeters. “I need to monitor their progress anyway, I suppose I can allow you to observe with me, from my wrist computer.” She looked around to make sure there was no aerial vantage point, then turned, and leaned back against a bulkhead. Her talons clicked on the device on her wrist and an anti-eavesdropping field shimmered to life over the screen. Then the image flashed and several cam feeds appeared in split screens, showing the Empress and the team’s movements.

After Freja had deposited her evacuees in the designated drop zone, she waited to hear that they had finished evacuations before she would park her runabout. She kept near the Chimera, but out of the way of the flight deck, assisting with making sure other ships didn’t try to interfere with their efforts, not that she wouldn’t be able to do as much as Lardel’s fighters, but she could at least provide another set of eyes on things.

Truthfully she was at odds with her natural inclination to help and her duty as the Commanding Officer, Freja mused as she continued to monitor things. It was nice to have a little jaunt outside of the ship, and it served the purpose of her being able to see how well members under her command responded to emergencies. So far she was pleased.

Lunan could feel Andreassen’s presence in the shuttlebay but it was clear that she wanted this to be his play, his responsibility, Hell of a time to test my skills he thought to himself.

Manika listened over her ear piece to the comms for Cull’s team. Esp turned her intense gaze on the XO, “They are preparing to breach the bridge of the Empress, Cmdr.” Her beak nodded at the holo-display of her wrist computer.
As the Raiders formed up two on a side with Cull facing the door, Cull said over comms =/\= Empress Bridge, this is Colonel Cull of the Raiders. =/\= he scanned the other side of the door to make sure the environment was safe. =/\= Bridge, do you copy? =/\= he said one last time. Finally, there was a reply. =/\= Colonel! This is Captain DeVarr of the Empress! We have six officers in here and myself. We… We are all injured, some severely. We need evac, but we still have passengers and crew on board. =/\= Cull said =/\= We are transporting the remaining passengers and crew off as we speak, but this ship isn’t going to hold. Get everyone in rescue masks and helmets and then we are coming in. You have thirty seconds starting… now. =/\= A countdown appeared in the tactical display of each of the Raiders and Cull and his team moved into position. One Marine yanked the cover of the manual door release and took the handle, ready to pop the door as soon as the timer stopped. The other three and Cull readied transporter tags , two each with Cull handing one to the Marine on the door. He motioned to each one where to go once they were through the door. When the timer reached ten, he began an out-loud count. “On me in ten…”
“Nine…”
“Eight…”
“Seven…”
“Six…”
“Five…”
“Four…”
“Three…”
“Two…”
“One…”
“GO! GO! GO!” Cull yelled as the door slid open with a muffled BANG as the emergency hydraulics yanked it sideways. The Marines spilled into the bridge and began tagging crew and calling for transport. Cull made his way to the Captain, still seated in her chair, and simply stuck a tag to her shoulder and commed =/\= Raiders to Black Sheep! All tags active! Get them the hell outta here! =/\= He then looked at his team and shouted “Back to the birds! Evac in sixty seconds!” and they began running for the waiting transport.Cull, MCO
The video feed only showed the beginnings of swirl of transports before the team turned and ran back for the waiting transports. The feed became distorted and disorienting as the team ran. Esp closed the video feed, but continued to listen to the comms.

The six crew of the Empress’s bridge appeared on the flight deck. They were all injured, some severely. The Raider’s medics rushed them. Esp turned to the crew manning the doors. “Get their medical teams in here! They need more assistance than we can give!” One of the Raiders stepped into the corridor and yelled, “We need medical teams STAT!”

”=^= Lunan to Sickbay, we have wounded down here! =^=”
-Lt. Commander Lunan Farrah: XO-
OOC: Since Rusty is on LOA, I’ll answer this for now, he can jump back in when he’s back. :)
IC:
=^=Acknowledged Commander, teams are in bound,=^= came the reply.
Seconds later, a group of medical personnel arrived. NE Dr. Kylie Carver started directing them, “Let’s get them stable before we get them to sickbay,” she ordered.
~NE Carver~
“I’ll leave the patients in your capable hands Doctor Carver,” Lunan said before moving to his next task.
-Lt. Commander Lunan Farrah: XO-
“Thank you Commander,” Dr. Carver replied before setting down to work, checking the injuries before moving anyone any further.

Manika turned to her vid display again, she watched Crull and his team bound in dizzying motions through the dying luxury liner. When she heard him yell “GO!” to the pilot she turned off the feed and nodded to the rest of the Raiders.
