T’Rea walked down the halls of the Chimera, taking in her new ship. This was quite impressive, she thought. She actually smiled some. She had been trying to renounce Sarek’s teaching for 12 years, but she was still in the habit of occasionally repressing her emotions.

Besides that, she eventually made her way to what she saw was called Alpha Sickbay. It was still interesting to her that there was a ship with two sickbays, though she fully understood the requirement of such things. She pressed to open the door and went in, looking around. She eventually wanted to look for a doctor, but for now, she was just looking at the bay itself. Though, she thought to herself, if a doctor were to approach her, she’d stop being distracted and get down to business. She smiled a little at the thought.

Lieutenant T’Rea (CSO)

Nearby there is a human male, with two solid gold pips on his collar. with dark skin who has a PADD in his hands. He directs the people and personnel around quickly and efficently to make sure that those that come in are seen in a quick and orderly manner. He walks about as he directs people, checking up on staff as well. He is easily the fist thing to notice when coming into the Sickbay.

Dr. Kevasi walks away from a patient, as she had given a consult on some of the medications she had given the patient, what it would do and the various side effects. The firey haired woman wore a white lab jacket and walked over to the NLt. She was looking around for a moment as they spoke, the conversation drowned out by the noises of personnel. She after a moment looks up and and then says one more thing before she breaks off from the man and walks over to the new face. She gives a warm and inviting smile as she begins to speak with the new Lt. “Good afternoon Lieutenant, is there something I can do for you? I am Dr. Kevasi Tulbrad.”

T’Rea looks around for one more second before responding. “Nice to meet you Kevasi! I’m T’Rea, here for my boarding physical.” She says, apparently unable to wipe her sweet smile off her face. She seemed quite emotional for a Vulcan, but sweet and kind as well.

Kevai nodded and gave her a warm smile. “Ah, welcome aboard then.” She picked up a PADD off of a nearby tray and tapped on it a few times. “Ah, I see. Our new Chief Science Officer. Well, lets head over to the biobed over here and get started.” ,She said as she gestured to a nearby biobed that was Vacant.

She smiled sweetly at Kevasi and took the biobed. “Out of curiosity, how long have you been aboard the Chimera?” She asked sweetly. She seemed very sociable.

Lieutenant T’Rea (CSO)

Kevasi looked at the results and recorded them onto the PADD. She looked thoughtful as she recorded the data. “I have only been on the Chimera for a few months… two maybe three at best. I too am relatively new.” She said with a small smile. “You are unlike most Vulcans that I have met. It’s unusual, but I also find it refreshing.” She said observing a bit. “How are you feeling all things aside?” She asked a quizzical look on her face.

“I am feeling very good, thank you for asking! And yeah, I renounced Sarek’s teachings a long time ago because I have a lot of trauma associated with them. My parents would punish me all the time because I didn’t conform perfectly, and it was usually physical.”

Lieutenant T’Rea (CSO)

“I see, that’s terrible. Well lets get with the scans and we will go from there.” Her tone was sympathetic as she spoke, she pulled a Medical Tricoder off of her hip and slowly started to scan the Lt. “Well all the more, we are glad to have you Lt. I look forward to working with you.” She said with a smile.

She complied with the scans. “I’m glad to be here! This ship is quite impressive, as is it’s crew. I’m just happy to be here for the ride, if I’m being honest. Haha!”

Lieutenant T’Rea (CSO)

She slowly moves the tricoder about and then looks at and records the data. “Well we’ll be happy to have you though I’m sure it’ll be more than just a ride.” She said with a chuckle.

T’Rea chuckled as well. “So I take it you have been enjoying your time aboard the ship?” She said, chuckling a little more. She was very friendly.

Kevasi looked up from the PADD “It has been an interesting few months, never a dull moment and I have been keeping busy. Yes I have enjoyed my time on the Chimera. There are, just as on any starship alot of interesting people about.” She said warmly.

OOC: Do her scans pick up anything unusual?

“Yeah! I love making friends with my crewmates. It’s one of my favorite things to do.” She said, then chuckled. She stretched her arms a bit, before asking: “How are the scans going?”

Kevasi smiled and signed something before she put the padd off to the side. “Nothing wrong, no abnormalities or anything like that. I would say you are perfectly healthy.” She gave a warm smile.

“I’m glad! I hate being sick.” She said. “It’s not fun.”

Kevasi nodded. “Indeed. It is never comfortable being sick. Uses up a lot of energy too. Luckily its easy to cure most things now a days.” She gave a warm smile. “Pending the other evaluations you are cleared for duty at least from a medical standpoint. I look forward to working with you.”

T’Rea extended her hand once again. “Back at ya.” she said. “By the way, has anyone ever told you you’re really good at your job?”

Kevasi continued to give a warm smile, though it warmed up just a little more. She took T’Rea’s hand and shook it gingerly. Her grip was good, she was just conducting herself with a very obvious practiced gentleness. “I have been told that yes, however I try not to let it go to my head. There are too many doctors already that think themselves as right authorities with big heads and even more pompous over inflated egos.”

T’Rea tried not to laugh, she couldn’t place her finger on exactly why it was funny but it was to her. “Well I’m glad you don’t let it go to your head then.” She said with a smile.

Kevasi gave a warm smile and put her hands up. “There wouldn’t be space left for any crew then.” She said with a chuckle.
