Freja regarded the transfer orders, it seemed she was out a COS currently.

However, it seems that command had a suggestion that she was perfectly alright with.

=^=Yes captain I’m on my way now. Hall out =^=. As she got the request of the captain to come to the ready room, she then got to the bridge and chimed the captain’s ready room chime. She was then awaiting to see the captain and didn’t know what to expect. Although, this wouldn’t be her first time seeing the captain.

“Come,” Freja called, looking up from her paperwork.

The young Chief of Security is entering the captain’s ready room and was not nervous. “Lt. Hall reporting in captain. How can I help captain?” She asked. She didn’t know why the captain needed her but she reported in.

Melanie Hall, Chief of Security

“Thanks for stopping by, I understand you originally joined us as an engineer, but command indicated you also specialize in security and our COS had to depart, would you be interested in switching to head up our security department?” Freja regarded the officer with her dark eyes.

“Yes captain. I am willing to be as our new CoS on board the Chimera. Sir.” She said. She smiled as she stood there and smiled more and more.

Melanie Hall - Chief of Security

“Excellent,” Freja nodded, “I’m not sure what we’ll be facing once we get to our rescue mission, so your first order of business is to update yourself with the information we have on file and prepare your department for potential boarding situations. I’m told we may have loads of private craft in the area, so I want to make sure our ship remains secure and that nobody takes advantage of the situation to try and seize a Federation starship.”

“Yes captain understood. Anything else sir?” She said.

CoS Melanie Hall

“Not that I can think of, dismissed Lieutenant,” Freja nodded, “If you require anything, be sure to contact me or my XO and we’ll see what can be done.”
